I was lucky that my celly had TONS of books to read on a wide array of subjects. And then when my mom died I was acting up and went to the S.H.U. for months at a time and I'd read 500 pages a day. I credit my new-found vocabulary and my penchant to awlays be grammatically correct to my scholastic endeavors behind bars. I really tried to better myself. I started going to jail about a month after my 18th B-Day and I got caught in the system. I have not been on the wrong side of the law (which is hard on federal supervised release) in almost a year, so that's a start. Being locked up is super weak I have a good girl now and she keeps me on the right track and I cut out negative influences from my life.

This last time I caught a gun case (for a fully-automatic AK) out of Hayward. First my case was a state case so I spent about 2 weeks in Rita but because the AK-47 was fully automatic I was expecting to get my case picked up by the ATF which was exactly what happen 2 weeks into going to court. A few weeks later they bussed me from Santa Rita to North County. There are virtually 0 people fighting fed cases in Santa Rita, with the exception of handicapped people. My boy Twin from East Oakland who had been shot and paralyzed had a fed case and he had to stay in Rita because it's wheelchair accessible. So in North County 85% of the people have fed cases and 15% people have state cases where they're looking at 15+ years lots of attempted murder cases. But Yeah you typically only go to North County if you're fighting a federal case or looking at big boy state time. People are in that motherfucker stressin' every time they go to court the feds are dirty and they like to give out big time. I'm glad that shit is over for me.
