Di Veroli's touch in the first clip is actually brilliant. The time is less than 15 seconds left before the priority minute and it looks to me that Freilich was actually hesitant to do any offense (though he was still vigilant). Rather than going to priority minute (which I think Freilich expected Di Veroli to do), Di Veroli unexpectedly threw a lunge, which caught Freilich off guard
There is similar touch from 2018 Wuxi WCH's women's epee semifinal between Romania's Ana Maria Popescu and USA's Courtney Hurley. Popescu actually managed to catch up her deficit (about 2 points, iirc) and managed to make the score even, 13-13. It's already the third period and the time left is 5.xx seconds. Rather than going for priority minute, Popescu decided to go offensive against Hurley and successfully scored a single touch. The whole process really REALLY caught Hurley off guard. Hurley really expected Popescu to wait for priority minute and when her expectation got invalidated, she was not psychologically prepared for Popescu's offense. From that touch, Popescu gave herself one point advantage and left Hurley less than 1 seconds to even the score, essentially giving her an impossible condition to even survive the bout. Brilliant touch
