I don’t know her or him what use,but I make my own mass from toilet paper,PVA glue and Polyfilla(paste you use to cover cracks, level walls) and acrylic paint for colour.take roll of paper, roll it all out in water, pass through blender, add glue, pollyfila and paint.I eye ball it..check out, search for DIY paper clay recipes.Paper pulp is needed cos it makes it all light weight and also cos filaments tie like mass together, allowing you to make thinner, more lifelike petals..Hope it helps 😉 Get creative! (I buy PVA what is for building, woodworks outside, waterproof PVA in buckets of 5 litres and Pollyfila in powder formula in huge sacks to make it all cheaper.Paper with glue I mix ahead of time can make huge bucket, but Pollyfila I add in tiny bits as I’m working, don’t mix for next times, don’t make colours ahead cos Pollyfila sets in quite short time and I would get just like bucket of cement. Also some cotton can be added instead or together with paper pulp, natural fibres just help a lot with keeping togheter thin petals,All construction that way,is light weight but strong as cement
