Thanks Joe. I used to keep my boat in Walton Channel in the 1980s and was a part-time warden on the Backwaters, so I knew the area well. Not been back there since but it's great to see it again.

Thanks Joe. A walk I have done a few times. Nice and easy flat walk and a comfortable distance. Always lots of bird life. Lovely on a sunny summer day.

Great little informative vid.... what I can tell you is that if you further proceed north along the peninsula rather than following the trail you will arrive at a beautiful place and beach called Stone Point..... its a place I've spent on anchorage many times and at low tide its sheltered from the Northerly winds !
It's a beautiful place and very underrated..... I've been lucky enough to have travelled the Walton backwaters for the last 20 years.... even raising my children on them and it's as good as anywhere I've been to on this planet...... the wildlife and the Sea are a spectacle....... especially watching the tide gently trickle back into the mudflats is amazing..... thanks for your time and effort making the video 📹

Near the northern end is a ‘practice’ Mulberry harbour, you can still see the ships/caissons in the water.
