I recently bought one of these to help me with ruler work and I love it! Very helpful in so many ways. I used to use the diagonal seam tape, but don’t need to now. Great product, worth the money. I also have a drop in bobbin and just peel the glider back, insert the bobbin and then replace the mat. Works well. You didn’t mention that you can revive the stickiness on the back by giving it a rinse with water. I have done that too and it is very easy. This is a well made, well planned product.
Nice video! I can see that the mat has some value, but have you ever tried it to stitch a "scant 1/4"" seam for quilting? I'm thinking that the fabric could line up along the left side of that 1/4" line to make it work, but was wondering if the maker's ever measured a completed block by doing that.
@@SewMuchMooreInStore I just ordered mine and it should be here on Friday. Right now I’m using a Teflon oven mat and it does help. I can’t wait to try this one.
It is recommended that you use a baby wipe. I didn’t have one (no babies in the house), so I used a damp paper towel and then I turned it upside down to air dry ❤️
The extension table is an aftermarket product. This is called a Versa table. You can learn more right here: sewmuchmooreshop.com/products/sew-steady-versa-table
Yes. Just like in the very first part of the video, you can chain piece, add binding, sew the side of a pair of pants. Anything that you need. Just use the seam guide markings as the fabric passes over the glider.

So glad to hear your review. I’ve had mine for over a year and because you can clean it, it is still works great!
I am so amazed with all the helpful hints I never thought of with seeing. Kiddos!
That’s awesome, Doris! I’m so glad you found this video helpful! 🥰
Thanks for the video - this is something I would be interested in for my sewing room.

That’s nice about the Greg Glider is you can always adjust the mat to whatever measurements you’re trying to attain.
@@SewMuchMooreInStore how can you do that when the hole has already been pre-cut underneath the feed dogs you can only move it so much
@@dcwatashi there is enough room to move it over 1/8 of an inch. That is all that a scant seam allowance is anyway ❤️

I wish you had different colors because I would love a light purple one
I ordered one. Thank you or the tip.
Awesome! You are going to love it 😊
I never knew this product existed! But I have a drop-in bobbin so would you advise cutting a larger hole around the needle?
Instead of lifting it up from the side, you were just lift it up from the front. You don’t need to cut anything.
What can I use to clean my table extension and my grid glider?
It is recommended that you use a baby wipe. I didn’t have one (no babies in the house), so I used a damp paper towel and then I turned it upside down to air dry ❤️
Where can i purchase the versatable ? I wss going to diy it in acrylic!
I left you another comment on your original question 💙
The cristal plate support table was diy?
The extension table is an aftermarket product. This is called a Versa table. You can learn more right here:

What are the thing you use in your hand for free motion quilting.?
These are called quilting disks. You can find them in my online shop:

Can this glider be used to sew a lengthy seam or border beyond the size of the glider?
Yes. Just like in the very first part of the video, you can chain piece, add binding, sew the side of a pair of pants. Anything that you need. Just use the seam guide markings as the fabric passes over the glider.
When you use it for FMQ, do you still lower the feed dogs?
Yes. It’s much easier to do free motion quilting when you lower your feed dogs.
