The layout of this park model is fantastic! The fact that it has two main floor bedrooms, TONS of storage, and two doors, plus extra width, makes the extra cost palatable. If it's built and insulated as well as it looks, I'd say this little home is perfect!
Wow, my husband and I both really like this house and the layout. We are really happy about the bedrooms on the main floor. We could live there easily, no lofts.👍👍❤❤ thank you, Matt and Danielle .
In the US “Park Model” is a designation for a sub 400sf that is legally a trailer. The importance is that it doesn’t trigger RE tax increase to raw land. PM also doesn’t trigger building code laws. He keeps calling this a “Park model” but this is bigger in many ways -too wide, too long…. This isn’t even “Tiny”. This is a towable mobil home. An Oversize Load requiring professionals and a second vehicle.
@@iamjasoncaryl I don’t know Canada laws, but in the US the extra expense of the wheels and roadworthy frame are often cheaper than all the inspections and code requirements for local build.
Really Gorgeous! It has All the bells and whistles, meaning, a FP, W and D, Hugh fridge, a Microwave, DW, insulation for below 30° weather- Amazing.. What's there to dislike?! I even love that it's Mobile! Well, the price gets me, but worth it? YES! ♥️👏
When I first saw this, I thought that it looks like a mobile home. This thought came to me naturally since I've lived for over 34 years in a mobile home (nowadays, they're called "manufactured homes"). My MH is 68 x 14, so not much bigger than this park home. I have 2 bedrooms (each has a closet, but the master bedroom has a small walk-in closet), 2 baths (the master bath takes up the whole back end of the MH), a laundry room, a front and back door (the back door lets into the laundry room), a dining area in the kitchen (lots of cabinets, a double sink, a full stove-oven, a dishwasher, a full refrigerator (with freezer), and while it doesn't have a microwave oven above the stove, I have my microwave sitting on the counter over my dishwasher), and a walk-in pantry. I have a full-sized deck outside my front door (with a wheelchair ramp leading up to it) and a half-sized deck outside my back door (this has steps leading up to it). Modern MHs are not like the slapped together shelters built in the 1940s through the 1960s. Those old things would last for only 10 or so years. As I said above, I've lived in my MH for over 34 years. It's survived snow and ice storms (rare in north Georgia, but they happen), severe thunderstorms, and 4 hurricanes (the latest being Helene) with the accompanying floods (my MH sits next to a creek). So for those who like this park model tiny home, you might also consider a MH.
This is beautiful - the second out of hundreds I've seen that I could just move into as it is - and I completely get that it's going to cost more than average, but I really wish that tiny homes were more financially accessible in general.
I love the width of this tiny-I always wondered why builders didn't give the smaller homes more space to have entry closets etc. A sensible ti ny for smart people!😊
Frankly it's not too expensive, with all you get for it. Of course if you plan to move around a lot won't make sense, but it's a really beautiful house and frankly I'll personally just find a spot and plant her there forever.
It's beautiful and I love the layout. It would be perfect for me with an attached porch and placed on a permanent foundation as opposed to the trailer. It's about U.S. $300/sqft, before land and connection to utilities, pushing it closer to $450/sqft total. Comparatively, an existing 1,000 sqft 2 bed, 1 bath home, fully renovated, on a small lot in a good neighborhood in my city is about $250-$300/sqft.
I don't need 2 bedrooms, so I'd want to get rid of the guest bedroom & devide that space between the living room and kitchen & make them both bigger. I'd also get rid of at least some of the cabinets by the laundry so I could have an elevated side by side front load washer & dryer as I can't bend over that well. Other wise, it's great. I'd love it.
Glad you all have gotten so many subscribers lately. Nice to know others are enjoying your beautiful videos. [Anytime I see a van sink I think how they should do a foot pump like you guys.]
I am loving this model! The realistically designed concept is AMAZING!! It’s not an “afterthought” like most designs. Spacious areas, bedrooms- NOT IN A LOFT- I’m simply in love with this home! The laundry area is splendidly outside of the bathroom!!! Did I mention before that I’m in love??!! I want it!!🤗🤎🤎🤎
Lovely - if only I could afford it! I think the price is very reasonable, just on a retirees income😢. Beautiful design, love all the appliances, storage & tall ceilings!😂❤
Loved the look, the feel, and plenty of natural light that I look for a tiny home. I love and have many plants, and this model has the amount of light that I love. I'm not a cave dweller so I would even ask for a skylight or two. Can it also be fitted for solar and off grid living?
Price is insane! I payed just slightly more for a new apartment in Stockholm. Difference is that my apartment will still be there retaining its value in 50 years
Gorgeous tiny home , Love the two main floor bedrooms , storage and the layout , The only things ID change would be go to a smaller fridge as I am single . and have a wood burner as I like them. Yup keep mini split. lovely large windows the flooring and counter tops i love . Thanks for being Honest Farai , My self Id be going with one of your smaller ones . The cost of the park model is good considering what you get with it, Well done & thank you. London , Ontario Canada .
I vastly prefer to actually view people that live in them, and not the marketing guys of the producers of the homes themselves. It's nice, but you don't really get a fair representation of pros and cons, and how it is to actually live in..

A house is a single-unit residential building where people live, typically designed for one family. It can range from a simple hut to a complex structure made of wood, masonry, or concrete, equipped with essential systems like plumbing and electrical. Houses generally include key living spaces such as bedrooms, bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The average size of a single-family house in Canada varies depending on the region and construction period but averages 1900 sq ft. A medium home would be ~950-1,000 sq ft. The average size of a tiny home in Canada typically ranges between 100-400 sq ft, with most falling under the 400 sq ft mark. Some tiny homes can be as small as 186 sq ft, depending on their design and purpose. In this case, the Orca, at 500 sq ft, could legitimately be classified as an extra-large tiny house or mobile home. The term "mobile home" became necessary in Canada to align with specific building codes and standards. Mobile homes are governed by the CSA Z240-MH standard, introduced in 1972, which provides a distinct regulatory framework for their construction and classification. This term helps differentiate mobile homes from other housing types, such as recreational vehicles or site-built homes, ensuring they meet safety, transportability, and residential use requirements under Canadian building codes.
Beautiful, but for where I live, the price is crazy high. To people living in Vancouver or any other Canadian city and making liveable wages, I bet it's wonderfully priced.
At $312 per sq/ft you could have 2 site built homes of this size custom built. Nice floor plan, not amazing but pretty decent. Unfortunately, the price is exorbitant and speaks to the problem of corporate price gouging.
I like the design and dimensions, but I'm not a fan of walls and doors that are mainly glass. Allow the light in with well-placed windows, but glass doors and massive windows do nothing to prevent intruders from breaking into your home.
If they are polycarbonate they can be. Unless they shoot they wont break them (or if they use hardware tools but the same could be said for metal bars on windows.... and even steel doors...).
You seem to have misconceptions about why intruders don’t break into a home. It is not because a door is more secure, it is because the net revenue from selling the stuff they steal is not worth the risk of the crime.
What I find unacceptable in this design is there is no entrance way like a foyer or mudroom. IMO it makes it look incomplete, and tacky A separate entranceway keeps mud and dirt from being tramped through the home. It keeps outdoor gear and shoesaccessible and most importantly it provides a welcoming transition between the outside and interior.
528 sq ft. so this is over the size for a tiny house. That dining room table is ridiculously too big for the area. They couldn't even put a mirror in the bath! At least you could use the 2cnd very small bedroom as a home gym. But the truth is these things are EXORBITANTLY priced, don't come with land, are hard to get permits & insurance for...they're a financial trap.
For someone whose dream is home ownership, this model is ONLY wishful dreaming…only a “concept”. It’s beautiful but too expensive…a dream that’s Never attainable, for someone like me…

This is a manufacturered home, not a tiny home.. I did love the host, his accent and his "singing and dancing ' in the shower made me smile.
Whoever decorated the park model did a beautiful job. It's gorgeous!
I love this!!! It’s the perfect size and he did a great job explaining everything!!!❤
Thank you so much!!
I love it!!❤
Thank god someone came to their senses and eliminated the usual cramped loft!
Yes, like you're not going to catch a cramp ever. 😂
Beautiful! Price in US dollars is around $159,000. Not a bad price for such a lovely home.
In the US “Park Model” is a designation for a sub 400sf that is legally a trailer. The importance is that it doesn’t trigger RE tax increase to raw land. PM also doesn’t trigger building code laws.

That's exactly what I said, I said it was a manufacturered home same thing as Mobile home. It's no longer tiny at this size.
Well said. Additionally, @ $312/sqft it is more expensive than a custom stick built home of this size
@@iamjasoncaryl I don’t know Canada laws, but in the US the extra expense of the wheels and roadworthy frame are often cheaper than all the inspections and code requirements for local build.

For a lot more money, disproportionately.

Totally agree!
I could just move into it as is also. The only problem is that they don’t allow tiny homes where I live 😩
Gorgeous home. It has everything.
Really good use of space, one of the best designs i have seen.👌
We’re so glad you liked the layout! Thanks for watching :)
“Butcher block veneer countertops” 😂😂 u mean laminate countertops with a faux wood veneer. Just so we’re all on the same page🤣🤣
Very nicely presented and the tiny home is beautiful!
Thank you so much!
reinventing the trailer house with modern technology at a much higher price.
Love this design, it's stunning, love all the room and high ceilings, i would love a center counter top then a table which i would use lol
YES! This is my favourite tiny home EVER!! ❤❤❤
Haha.. Cuz it's not a tiny home. It's a manufactured home. 👌
@PapayaJoy same thing
I’m interested in a 300sqft❤❤❤❤
I’m still waiting for a powder room because there are times when 2 toilets are essential 😉
I love this beautiful tiny home and the price seems reasonable. Thanks for sharing

Honestly, it looks fantastic - and for a change it's a builder that's local to me!
I like the idea of a little bigger tiny house, this one is great !!!
Thanks for your comment! We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour!
Love the one level❤❤❤
I might place a Murphy bed in the 2nd bedroom.

Well thank you I've been looking at these videos for years & hadn't known how to properly describe what I've been wanting is a "park model tiny home"

I really like this one. It's a step up from most tiny homes.

Its a single wide . I don't see the ground breaking new efficient layout.
I wish the dish washer was next to the sink for ease of loading. Other than that- beautiful build!

Isn’t an “extra large tiny house” simply called a “house”?

How much it cost
It's a mobile home, not even a double wide 😅. "Park" model? Yeah for the trailer park.
Nice unit…but at that size it’s a mobile home, like seen in trailer parks, not a tiny home.
It's a trailer

Yeah I'd want it to be somewhere permanently. Then I would want an electric stove.
Very cool layout, extremely well done. BUT! Way over priced. I was thinking under 100k for sure
OK…. Cynical take here…. Congratulations, you made a single-wide. This is starting to break the concept of the “tiny home”…
