I also really like that this (obviously) wasn't a blind YIAY- while I love those, it's also nice to have a YIAY where you've seen the answers beforehand again, and while you can give some witty zingers, this video specifically has you ruminate on some of the questions with genuine answers. And the pacing of the video was natural! From the raw footage you've given us, you tend to do take after take, but it was really nice to see this video in one take, and it worked. I'd love to see more stuff like this!

I feel like the main humor from the taco bell mukbang would be the re-edits of it, or people reacting to the video. Like the video itself isn't all that funny, but then people's own takes at re-editing it would be the best.
I used to watch Jack back in the parody and YGS days. Lol been forever since I saw one of his videos. That hair is SNATCHED now. Nice to see his personality hasn't changed now.
The mukbang idea seems great, but would probably work well if you followed that pattern of crazy excited "introducing the food from the menu" bit into the grey scale depression eating bit for each food item. Possibly going back to the colorful excited phase to review the food before going onto the next. Bonus points for staying a mess after eating but acting full of energy for the next item.
That could be neat! If it's just an hour of silent eating, the joke can get old and people won't watch the entire thing.

This is the first yiay I’ve watched in years, and it feels like jack is being held hostage and if he doesn’t frantically do an impromptu yiay for someone they will take his family

Yeah, the over-editing on this channel as of late is a minor turnoff for me, and it's ironic that he made fun of mukbang channels in this video (rightfully so) for THEIR overediting.
