Great interview and a real eye opener. Annis sounds like a top bloke who would be great company on a night out (Caerphilly would welcome you fella). I agree with you 100% that family is everything. My father died 23 years ago and I still fill up now when I think about him. I started following the City in 1969 and the 70's was my time. My favourite away days were London trips on the train. Some dodgy moments along the way but nothing beats the buzz and the excitement of going behind enemy lines and coming home with everything still in tact and 3 points (or 2 as it was then) in the bag.

Known Annis for almost 25 years and was with him in Brussels during the riots at Euro 2000 he’s a fantastic genuine lad , a true friend and every thing in his story is true , good or bad one thing you always get from him is the truth . Great listen

I've read a few of Annis books. This interview was great, for me the Sam Hammam years was a great time for our club because he brought a feel good factor all around the place. I'm a bit older than Annis so I remember a lot of the past times he talked about. And I share his hatred of the red rebrand and the feeling of emotion and relief when eventually our blue returned. I feel the future is uncertain at the moment and hope that a new owner arrives sooner rather than later. 💙

I remember 2004 at the Hawthornes when Cardiff underestimated the Albion. But for me the best firm from Wales and the West Country was easily Bristol City.

Met Annis in Newcastle that night in the pub he mentions. I was with his friend dibs. Met a lot of top cardiff lads that night mikey dye and a few others. Annis is 100% correct what happened by the strawberry and club shop. I was outside shearers bar also met Annis and cheggers after the game too. Nobody would of touched that mob if all walked to ground together. Best mob in Newcastle I’ve seen hope u see this Annis. Genuine and honest fan.

It’s awful, modern football in the UK has sold its soul. One thing I don’t get with Annis tho and a lot of the lads is they say they’re not into politics but go along with the BLM knee benders and the LGBTQ rainbow flags. They are political movements yet lads seem to turn a blind eye to their agendas yet criticise Celtic. Anyway another reason I can’t stand modern football and the hypocrisy and subversion

I dont fault Annis's loyalty to the club but the worst thing Cardiff / Sam Hammam did was to give this guy a voice and to be some sort of fans representative.
