Do they get the excess surplus from banks that never dispense these? This is something very foreign to me in America, lol. Not that we have too many designs released every year like you guys have. Glad you were able to get one of each.
Yes the banks do receive most coloured coins to distribute, years ago I used to ‘coin hunt’ bank rolls and I have a good collection of what I picked out from circulated coins. Quite a few countries have coloured coins but don’t see any in US, I collect US $1 notes, I go home to US every year or two (I’m a US citizen with an Aussie accent 😀) and I’m always looking for something ‘circulating’ to add to my collection but theres not much! I love collecting and stacking, I really enjoy your videos 😄
