Thanks for sharing these cap reinforcement tools. I'm curious about how the grips hold on the back of your head. Does your hair keep them in the right spot, or do you have enough curve to your cranium back there that they won't ride up? Thanks again, Stacy!
@@wendyamsterdam8482 There are a lot of folks in social media groups who ask how to keep the back of the grips in place, and some can't. If those ride up, they impact the fit, and how well the wig stays on the head. I've avoided trying them for a few different reasons, but my jumbo flat head is one of those. 😎
Love a much needed tutorial! I have one and just ordered another color. I live in a state where the summers are hot and humid. This nylon string grip is a life saver. No more hot necks from thick wig grips. No more added bulk. Your point about giving time to get used to the Velcro is very important. Mine does not ride up in the back. Also makes wearing short wigs a breeze. Thanks!

Yes I'm wondering how they don't ride up at the back
The velvet of the first one also grips to the hair, so the sides keep it in place as well

I used *It Stays* on the lace & tape on the nape b/c of "ride-up." 😮😊
Great video many thanks 👍

Thanks for your awesome comment! And for watching!
So if you use glue you don't need to use a grip as well?
I don’t! You might. Everyone feels different.
