Seriously?! Too many? Yet they complain when there's not enough. I don't understand. I think people just look for stuff to complain about these days though honestly. This is the first review I've seen of this. I wanted to try it too, especially since I have a hard time finding foundations that are actually neutral that don't sway too pink or yellow, but she said it's a no go for dry skin. :(
That's crazy! I think it's great that there's so many options, especially on both sides of the spectrum. I tend to not be able to find shades that are light enough for me that aren't also orange. :( I imagine many people have that issue, even in darker skin tones. The more options, the better!

Right? Like who cares if it's a PR stunt when it's actually a great move. People are being ungrateful, they complained about shade ranges so a company comes out with 100 shades, twice the normal amount of celebrated foundations, and they're criticized for their decision to make that many shades.
I have combo skin with a super oily t zone and this is my all time favorite! My texture and redness has dramatically improved since I started wearing it. That has never happened to me wearing foundation before. Thanks for your always honest and thorough reviews!
I saw Leighann Says and Casey Holmes both love it! But they both have normal/combo/oily skin, not dry. I have normal skin too and I love it! The coverage is great!

Yely 1978 you missed my point. she doesn’t have the struggle as someone as light as me or someone much darker than her. they AWAYS have her shades. we either have to use foundation lighteners or a ton of bronzer

I use to work for them and I agree! As long as its the one in the glass tall jar with the pump, not the one in the small glass, that one is super heavy. The other one is a thinner consistency but really beautiful!

I can't believe that people were really acting that way. :( There are sooo many different skin tones out there, and covering more than a limited group is so important in makeup. I've had so many makeups that were very orange on my skin, and because I'm pretty light skinned it's so obvious. It looks like I don't know how to pick my shade, but in reality, a lot of companies didn't have many options when I first started wearing makeup. Not enough light options or dark options. This is such a great thing to see a company do!
Popped into Ulta today to get more too faces foundation but they were out of my color. The person helping me brought me over to PUR and found a color match for me. I am 36 and have noticed some smile lines and such so I did want something for not old but not young skin. I went home and tried it out. It doesn’t take much to cover and it looks better as it sits. I fell in love immediately and it makes my skin look fresh and blends so well.

I'm not a foundation person. I bought this off of ipsy. I absolutely love it. I have combination skin, my skin gets clogged. This stuffs a miracle. By far the best. Works great on my sensitive skin

my issue is that they did 100 shades, but they all have pretty "normal" undertones. instead of only warm/neutral/cool, they need to have more undertone categories- olive, red, etc. it doesnt matter if a foundation is light enough for me if the undertone is wrong, i still have to mix. if you're gonna have alllll these shades, at least get some "weird" undertones in there. otherwise i dont have a need for it honestly. im very pale w yellow-olive undertones (i have a green cast lmao) and i have to mix every foundation with white and yellow and green mixer to get my shade. there are THOUSANDS of foundation shades in W/N/C undertones, i dont need 100 more shades. it's cool, but a missed opportunity imo. not saying they need to only be uncommon undertones, but they really could've changed the foundation game, but instead they put one more drop of light or deep pigment to make the shades different.......to me, it's all for buzzwords and exposure, not for the sake of being inclusive. EDIT: also the lightest shade doesnt seem light enough for me based on the swatches. i feel like such a downer, but im disappointed!!! 100 shades and i'd still have to mix.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Me too. It's so hard to find shades light enough when you're super fair. Most things are either too pink, orange, or yellow. I can only imagine what a nightmare it is when you're super deep.
I knew the shade range was amazing when Nyma found her shade and there were still a few more shades even deeper. Honestly good for them. They did amazing with this.
I don’t blame POC for being skeptical of shade ranges like this. After the whole morphe thing it’s clear that some brands are taking advantage of this inclusive momentum and jumping on to make a buck. I think that is important to recognize and I am glad that the reviews that I’ve seen from a variety of shade ranges have good things to say about the range and the formula.
I don’t know what it looks like on you in person, but your skin looks flawless on my screen. I got a very small tube from Ipsy a year ago and I just tried it today over EltaMD sunscreen and it looks fantastic 10 hours later. I just don’t know if there’s a better color for me, but this one looks really good. I’m definitely going to buy it. I’ve been using Too Faced foundation for a couple of years but I’m ready for a change after trying this Pür sample. My sample was color LG5.
I have extremely dry skin and I love this foundation but I use way less and use a beauty sponge. The brush made me look super dry by the end of the day but the sponge just made it flawless all day.
This is my go to foundation... nothing covers as well as this foundation does... and the versatility in usage is an added bonus.... LOVE this brand and love this product!
Also would love to see an HSN or QVC makeup video. Like you watch a beauty segment on the shopping channels and buy a full face from them. That would be so fun!
I'm gonna say, I SO trust your reviews. Everybody saying that the Juvia's foundation is as powerful coverage as Dermacol, but you're the only one who showed me its not all that
I'm combo and its just ok for me. If you like medium coverage I would say try it but I'm more of a full coverage kind of gal and it just doesnt completely do what I want. I don't hate it but I dont love it. Sigh.
It is really amazing they came out with 100 shades. And all the shades make sense. It's a broad spectrum with all different undertoned. It was well thought out. Props to Pur

Try the Flower Beauty drops! They do have some glitter to them, but I love it as an oil at night and I do feel one drop on with my foundation is lovely! (Also a dry girl)

Omg. I couldn’t agree more with what you said in the intro! It just reiterates that, you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Ppl flip a shit when there isn’t enough shades. & as we see with this launch, they’ll STILL bitch when there’s A TON of shades to choose from. Then there’s those people, who really irk me, say “it’s too little too late”. “There jumping on the bandwagon now. They should’ve always been inclusive”. WTF???😤 Now, it’s theres TOO many & it’s OVERWHELMING🙄. But they even addressed that potential “issue” with the shade finder online. Is it perfect? No but they at least took into consideration that people may need some help honing in on a shade, among the 100. Even if it was a “marketing” thing, they still did it WELL. Every category (light/tan/deep etc), have an even number of shades to choose from, so well balanced! It’s crazy! Many brands obviously, heard people’s gripes. Especially after Fenty’s successful launch. So they’ve modified & done what they can to do better & basically, follow suit. But even giving people WHAT THEYVE ASKED FOR, isn’t enough. So, companies can’t learn, grown, change, do better & address issues? It’s just a wrap for them? Funny enough, it seems like people treat PEOPLE in a similar way nowadays. If that’s the case though, whats the point of speaking up & calling brands out? Why voice concerns? If they’re trash, regardless of any improvements, those “critics” come off like you’re bitching to hear yourself talk & just for the sake of bitching. But some people are NEVER satisfied. Some people LOVE the “underdog/victim/black sheep/“ “I always get the short end of the stick” role. So even when you appease & deliver what they’ve been asking for, they’ll just find another thing or way to make it as though, they’re STILL not being heard & they’re STILL being pushed aside. 🤷🏻♀️ That role for some people, is intertwined with their whole identity. Without it, they’d have to find a new more productive role to fill & well, that’s not as attention grabbing or ego filling. Sigh

Watching foundation Friday and cleaning make-up brushes. I saw a dollar tree haul video and the person doing it said to get a silicon pot-holder from dollar tree to clean make-up brushes. Genius! It’s not a full mit like the sigma (more like a crab claw), but it is textured on the inside to swirl your brushes around and no pruned hands 🙌
I think the usual brush side was a better match because you had LN4 and LN6 mixed. I just got this today at Ulta because my shade in the Too Face Peach Perfect is sold out at all the Sephora’s near me. So far I’ve had it on for 5 hours in the South TX heat and have been sweating like crazy. Hasn’t budged or cracked! Woohoo!

Omg, the "findation" thing to match what shade you are for their foundation/concealer is actually kind of awesome! My ONLY concern is that they gave me the shade LG3....um, no way in hell am I "gold". I have more neutral to cool undertones. So although LG3 worked decent, I'd much rather buy the samples of LN3 or LP3 (btw, I didn't know that they did samples, so thanks for that tidbit!)

I have oily skin this one on like a mask it was so heavy and Cakey and dried in such a way it didn't seem to bond with my skin I immediately returned it. I'm sticking with Urban Decay optical illusion primer and then Pur Cosmetics 4 in 1 mineral foundation powder. Makes for a beautiful finish

I'm combo and its just ok for me. If you like medium coverage I would say try it but I'm more of a full coverage kind of gal and it just doesnt completely do what I want. I don't hate it but I dont love it. Sigh.

Try the Flower Beauty drops! They do have some glitter to them, but I love it as an oil at night and I do feel one drop on with my foundation is lovely! (Also a dry girl)

Omg. I couldn’t agree more with what you said in the intro! It just reiterates that, you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t. Ppl flip a shit when there isn’t enough shades. & as we see with this launch, they’ll STILL bitch when there’s A TON of shades to choose from. Then there’s those people, who really irk me, say “it’s too little too late”. “There jumping on the bandwagon now. They should’ve always been inclusive”. WTF???😤
Now, it’s theres TOO many & it’s OVERWHELMING🙄. But they even addressed that potential “issue” with the shade finder online. Is it perfect? No but they at least took into consideration that people may need some help honing in on a shade, among the 100.
Even if it was a “marketing” thing, they still did it WELL. Every category (light/tan/deep etc), have an even number of shades to choose from, so well balanced!
It’s crazy! Many brands obviously, heard people’s gripes. Especially after Fenty’s successful launch. So they’ve modified & done what they can to do better & basically, follow suit. But even giving people WHAT THEYVE ASKED FOR, isn’t enough.
So, companies can’t learn, grown, change, do better & address issues? It’s just a wrap for them? Funny enough, it seems like people treat PEOPLE in a similar way nowadays. If that’s the case though, whats the point of speaking up & calling brands out? Why voice concerns? If they’re trash, regardless of any improvements, those “critics” come off like you’re bitching to hear yourself talk & just for the sake of bitching.
But some people are NEVER satisfied. Some people LOVE the “underdog/victim/black sheep/“ “I always get the short end of the stick” role. So even when you appease & deliver what they’ve been asking for, they’ll just find another thing or way to make it as though, they’re STILL not being heard & they’re STILL being pushed aside. 🤷🏻♀️ That role for some people, is intertwined with their whole identity. Without it, they’d have to find a new more productive role to fill & well, that’s not as attention grabbing or ego filling.

Watching foundation Friday and cleaning make-up brushes. I saw a dollar tree haul video and the person doing it said to get a silicon pot-holder from dollar tree to clean make-up brushes. Genius! It’s not a full mit like the sigma (more like a crab claw), but it is textured on the inside to swirl your brushes around and no pruned hands 🙌

I think the usual brush side was a better match because you had LN4 and LN6 mixed. I just got this today at Ulta because my shade in the Too Face Peach Perfect is sold out at all the Sephora’s near me. So far I’ve had it on for 5 hours in the South TX heat and have been sweating like crazy. Hasn’t budged or cracked! Woohoo!

Omg, the "findation" thing to match what shade you are for their foundation/concealer is actually kind of awesome! My ONLY concern is that they gave me the shade LG3....um, no way in hell am I "gold". I have more neutral to cool undertones. So although LG3 worked decent, I'd much rather buy the samples of LN3 or LP3 (btw, I didn't know that they did samples, so thanks for that tidbit!)

I have oily skin this one on like a mask it was so heavy and Cakey and dried in such a way it didn't seem to bond with my skin I immediately returned it. I'm sticking with Urban Decay optical illusion primer and then Pur Cosmetics 4 in 1 mineral foundation powder. Makes for a beautiful finish
