There's a show called "How do they do it" or something like that, which similar to "How it's Made", that shows how they move books from the largest library in the UK (if I'm remembering right). There's like a hidden conveyor belt throughout the library that transports books to various areas. I wonder if the library that they're at is like that.
The ones at Starfield in the tall shelves - those are all fake hahaha there’s one in Seoul Coex, too. It’s just to look cool. Lately there’s been a resurgence in people reading in Korea so they make places like that for people to take cool pictures of and promote online.
This is me as a kid ❤ I love going to bookstores so much! And now I own a small bookstore here in Korea!! It‘s called Chaek Out Books 😅 I love when kids come in and convince their parents to buy something 😂 😊
Is it bad that I'm interested in a lot of the kids' books you've shown us? Especially the horror and the SnoSno one 😂 And the origami momuments one is also a super cute way to learn korean history!
Yeah those are "읽으면서 바로 써먹는" and there are a lot of them. They're legit fun to read but might still be quite advanced for beginners because they teach a lot of useful expressions that usually beginners won't need yet :D
I went to Suwon Library and it is so beautiful. In my opinion, much better than the one in Gangnam (been to both). And I love a bookstore too. It made me said last year I could read much of the books in the store since my Korean wasn't that great. It's improved a lot and I'm working on reading more in Korean because I love reading in general. So it makes my heart smile to see kids loving and excited to read.
Minecraft is honestly great. It might seem simple. But there's a lot more to it. You are able to build machines and learn about game/ computer mechanics. The redstone he's talking about is essential for many advanced machines. Not to mention that there is a educational version of minecraft. Out of a lot of the games kids get in to Minecraft is definitely one of the best. If he continues playing when he gets older you will continue to be surprised by the things he creates. Of course moderation is important.
i love these videos but i wish there was an option to seperate the korean subtitles from the english ones. i keep peeking accidentally instead of listening and thats not good for my learning haha
As a non-parent I'm laughing at the "you only brought 50,000₩?" exchange. Yep, sorry, that's all and there's no way to get more. 🤷🏼😂 Thank you for another fun and interesting video. And thanks to Jeremy for letting us virtually tag along with you!
Please buy Jeremy another book😂 Job well done, mom and dad!
Wow! I will absolutely let him get another book and show him this comment :D
I've always wondered how they get the books down in the library. It looks so many of them are inaccessible
