I don't know any other restaurants in LA with that spread of banchan combined with the marinated raw crab dish. I've been going there for at least the past 6-7 years. At first to try their marinated crab, since I wanted to try something different than most offerings in Koreatown and it was highly recommended by Jonathan Gould (the food critic referenced in the video). And fell in love. The banchan comes with every meal, and it's a huge spread as seen in the video. The marinated crab might not be for everyone, but it's a nice experience to try at least once. I love it, and had been going there many times just for it. But their beef short ribs are what they're really known for. Easily one of the best in town. After trying the short ribs, I have a hard time ordering anything else, unless I'm splitting a marinated raw crab with friends. I LOVE Korean food, but what I loved seeing most in all those kitchens were those banged up old black, crusty pans with matching dented up lids! I have a few pans like that I inherited from my mother, and they are older than I am, and have cooked so many countless delicious meals. I would not trust a kitchen or the cooks if the pans were all shiny and new looking. I like the utensils that look like they have been thru a war or two.

Mark, please show us the interior of the dumplings.
On Christmas Eve we went to nativity service and came home and ate seafood til stuffed. Christmas in my wife' family to have traditional turkey dinner. Stuffed again. Boxing Day went to father in law and mother in law who had huge roast if beef. Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, gravy Brussels sprouts squash etc. I can't possibly eat another bite. I feel stuffed and yuck......oh look at those delicious noodles. Well if it is refreshing, let's have a little!!!!!!!
The food looks amazing. I don't know how Mark keeps such good shape eating all this food. 🤣🤣🤣
Mark has a HIGH METABOLISM. But I sometimes think, he must be SMOKING some very good BUD, OFF CAMERA, for him to DEVOUR the amount of food he eats in 1 day. Also MARK eats such a VARIETY of HIGH QUALITY FOOD, and he has a WORK OUT REGIMENT. INCLUDING all of the walking he does when he visits different places. Also he suppliments ALL THE FOOD HE eats by eating LOTS of VEGETABLES. But it is UNCANNY that he isn't overweight, with the AMOUNT of PORK he eats.
I think all those hot peppers and sauces speed up his metabolism too. He also does a lot of walking.
Wow I would love to visit, and experience the Korean food culture.
I have been living in South Korea for 22 years...this is a FEAST!
*wOw 😍 You are MY FAVOURITE!!*
Wow!!! My favorite video so far it’s so pure and naked enjoyment of all the dishes laid on the table. I love Korean food! Delicious
Wow love Korean food is the bomb I love it and yes kimchi is addicting I can’t live without it. I just wish they were more acceptable of outsiders cause we so put them on the map in our country. Love you Korea we love you and respect you.
Oh my word so many authentic restaurants in LA! I literally work near there and have never explored these wonderful places.
As an Iranian, I really love Korean foods😍😩 they are amazing and tasty. Today I tried Korean-fired chicken for the first time, and I can easily say that it was the most delicious fried chicken I have tried so far. I also tried kimbap and noodles (different noodles), and they tasted sooooo good. The Korean egg roll was also one of my favorite food 😁
If I have a chance, I want to try more Korean food. Can you recommend me more delicious Korean foods?
Try kal-bi (beef rib bbq) my friend.
Soondubu (soft tofu soup), Japchae (stir fried glass noodles), dak galbi (spicy bbq chicken)
as a korean-iranian, family dinners are insanely amazing 🥰
love the food ! Mark has such a humble personality
Whenever he throws his head back and does his Santa laugh "hohohoho" we know he is enthralled by all of the wonderful flavors and taste! 👍
WOW… WOW, do I want to go HERE! The food critic’s favourite! The husband does all the cooking, the wife all the pickling and other magic..Soban? {name escapes me..out of sight, out of mind🙄} Wjat a beauuutiful spread! 🍱🍛🍲🥘♥️

Happy New Year 2022 To All ruclips.net/video/9KkT5FFPKqY/видео.html
I LOVE Korean food, but what I loved seeing most in all those kitchens were those banged up old black, crusty pans with matching dented up lids! I have a few pans like that I inherited from my mother, and they are older than I am, and have cooked so many countless delicious meals. I would not trust a kitchen or the cooks if the pans were all shiny and new looking. I like the utensils that look like they have been thru a war or two.
If I had to eat only one type of food my entire life, it would be Korean food!
Thanks for Mark for showing us your fans different culture of food on the channel
I remember going to an all u can eat Korean bbq in ktown with some coworkers. We ate and got drunk off plum wine🤗, it was one of the best nights everrrrr🥰😋

LOVEEEE Korean food. So many side dishes to go along, the red color is so tempting and you know it’s traditional when there’re pairs of scissors involved.
My reaction is the same with you when the yummy food is in front 😁
I even start to dance a bit when it’s soooo yummy 😂
Khob khun ka P’Mark for another amazing food tour 😋
