Cool little knife Chad. I love a small knife like this to skin with. You’re killing me I want to do some of this so bad I can taste it but just have too many irons in the fire right now. Great video.
I have enjoyed every video you have put out since I’ve discovered your channel. You do a great job for sure great looking product. Do have one question where do you get pewter? God bless
Hey Ed. Thanks for watching! I probably should have used another word rather than “packing”. I was referring to thinning the edge with the hammer during forging. I should have said thinning lol. I will explain in the next video and thank you for asking!
Scrap steel, heat, hammer and knowledge with technique. Good looking knife so far, can't wait for part 2. Well done to you.
Nice job sir

You should have just hammered with the pistol glocks are great all around tools so why not
Looking good so far. Can I ask how long did it take to get to this point?
It took me about 35 minutes I think maybe 40
Chad could you demonstrate sometime what is meant by packing the edge. Thanks really appreciate your knowledge.

Git yourself a piece of hardwood club and use it to take the curl out of the spine so you don't knock the belly out of the blade..
nice, but, why you forge with a gun at the belt ?
I always have a gun on me. Just like a pocket knife and my wallet
Nice
