I do love Devotion 😊 I bought it, and Burberry Goddess at the same time. I love both. I also love Black Opium, in all its forms. I was, and am still a fan of the Original Opium. That’s how old I am!😂😂😂
You are lucky to have that skin that loves fragrances. Both the Devotion and Burberry Goddess do not work well with me! Yes the original Opium is amazing! You are talking about the more spicy one not the Black Opium line correct?

Thank you! I got it at TJMaxx for $16.99 They had all kinds of colors and different animals. I loved the hot pink one they had with a leopard, but it wasn't in my size! Marshalls carries the same stuff as TJMaxx so yo might have luck finding it at one of those stores. I got it about 3 weeks ago! They still have them, because I was at TJMaxx today getting some Christmas stuff.
I happen to really enjoy Devotion! When i wear it i smell sweet lemony cupcake with hints of honey, its delightful to me 😊 another one that i love is infamous Angel 😁
Totally agree with you Sasha, I personally do not like devotion.. I get a weird feeling, the orange blossom mixed with the citrus notes, I don't know it's not a hate, but it's not a love either... But I have to admit that it's one of the best designers releases.. I do prefer bake by akro ❤
I have heard so much about Bake by Akro and had the opportunity of having it gifted to me but ended up going with Rouge Smoking which I adore. If I get the chance to try it I will.

Have you tried Black Opium Le Parfum? Omg I am addicted to that fragrance. Especially for designers but even so that vanilla is delicious, i get so many compliments. Also been loving Navitus Mahni Cassonade, Ambrosia Imperiale and Chocolate Queen. Have great luck with Navitus. I didn't like Devotion either but I don't enjoy lemon much ❤
Yes it is truly a beautiful fragrance! It did not last long on me for some reason! The extreme lasts longer on me! I hear a lot of people say that the Le Parfum is their favorite flanker! I need to dive into Navitus again! I have Eidola and Sour Exclusive... both wonderful fragrances
I absolutely adore devotions, and I had vanilla woods, which I also love but the performance is lacking so it is over price however, it does smell yummy
Vanilla woods is so long lasting on me... isn't it interesting how fragrances can perform so differently on people. There are a lot of people that truly love Devotion, and I do think it is a nice perfume, but on me it just doesnt wow!
Lush Tumeric Latte is the better Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille for me. They're not dupes, but have a similar vibe. Lush's is definitely more complex and fine imo. :)
Love that zebra top! So cool and chic. Nope, I am not into Devotion. Tested it 3 different times and each time it didn’t click with me. Yes, to me, it does smell like a Christmas candle and lemon cleaning products. Citrus is a very tricky scent accord I find. To each their own, as they say. My favourite gourmand is Scandal by Jean Paul Gaultier. The honey is vulgar, loud and so proud 😂. Normally I love light, airy florals, but scandal, for some reason excites my inner she wolf 🐺.

As ever I am very thankful with your recommendations ❤ I smelled Devotion the first time a month ago and didn’t like it at all 😕 Last Saturday I gave it a chance and tried again, and wow I was impressed. One point, both times it wasn’t in the same store, maybe the first tester was damage or maybe was a new one and the fragrance was not yet somewhat accented. I can’t explain very well, do you understand what I am trying to say?
Yes I know what you are saying for sure. I am going to keep wearing it to see how it works with my skins chemistry. I have had fragrances in the past that I didn’t like, and then suddenly revisited them and then loved. Example of that is Black Orchid 🖤
Your experience with Devotion sounds like my experience with Musc Ravageur/F Malle… Cinnamon leaf and not much more. (tbh my skin somehow kills fragrances, no matter what)
Omg Sasha, I'm completely on board with the meh status of Devotion! In all fairness, I knew I wasn't gonna love it before sampling it because I don't fancy smelling like candied lemon (or any type of lemon)... I'm also not on board the Burberry Goddess train, mainly because to me it smells like a shorter lasting, less boozey and more cocoa forward Vanilla 28... meh!
Yes you are right about the Burberry Goddess! I was hoping it would be a loud yummy fragrance that left a gorgeous long lasting trail but was very disappointed that it barely said hello on me... just fizzled out pretty quickly! I hate when that happens.

I give Devotion an 8. I find it a semi gourmand and not a hint of red hots or I wouldn’t have bought it. I must try Misfah….. I believe Gabby mentioned that. The new Le Gourmand by Jousette is the most edible gourmand ever. Not sure if I want to smell that foodie like Nutella . Still deciding on that one.

I like it but it's definitely not a love. Thought it was gonna be very different. It's similar to how I felt with Gucci Bloom intense and Prada paradox. Very hyped but just didn't do it for me like I thought lol. I got paradox intense for Xmas and I'm in love with her.

Every time I go I to Ulta I think “okay, this time it’ll be different, and I’ll love it.” But no. No! It’s sickly too sweet and synthetic and…underwhelming. Even Amo Ferragamo is better. (…But don’t get me started on Burberry Goddess, which is just gross! It’s like a rancid butter cookie, gag! I’m convinced that every influencer out there hyping it is getting paid to do so!) …Anyway, thank you! I am not going crazy 🙏🙏

In my opinion BDK rouge smoking is not in the middle at all, is feminin, i do not whant to smell Rouge Smoking on a man... Ihhh... Is not for a masculin man, but is just my opinion 😉 and is about my taste regarding mens fragrances
I have smelled it on a man and it smelled smoky and intoxicating (I didnt know the guy but he was at the fragrance counter). Smelled very different on him then it does on me. Personally I do not like wearing fragrances that are on the masculine side... this to me seemed safe. But then again people smell things differently... that is what I love about the world of perfume!
I know it is suppose to be Espresso but it is the way I pronounce it. I have a few other words that I pronounce differently too LOL. My parents were dutch with very heavy accents and so some of the way they said words rubbed off on me I think.
Devotion is a love for me. I bought it when it first came out and it was love at first sniff.
Yes a lot of people love it. I am working with it, but not really getting anywhere yet! It smells very waxy on me.
Milk bold is a must in my home during the holidays. My husband even gets a few sprays on during Xmas. Even my girls remember it through the holidays.

I just looked it up. It came out in 1977. When I began wearing it, it was out for a year. I WAS 29!

I did buy Devotion because of the hype and returned it. I loved the opening, but the dry down nauseated me. Too orange blossom heavy for me.

Lol I love Burberry Goddess. I'm on my 2nd bottle 😂 The ginger mixed with the vanilla is a beautiful daily vanilla that isn't gourmand. Love it!
