I came here to criticize, scold, & judge and realized that this dude was/is just another man trying to feed his family coming from a life where you hardly ever make it out. The street codes have never been abided by from the day they were created so much respect to this brother for maturing and charge of his own life.

Maybe stop being so judgmental and ignorant and actually look into people more, you probably would’ve recanted your whole comment if this stuff happened to a kid from today, you only feel for him because his 40+. If he was 20 you would be just as judgmental as you said you were gonna be.

Now this is a true example of changing your life. Grew up in life of crime, sale drugs, almost killed someone but his lack of gun training saved him back then from killing someone so he cab better his life. He got off the streets to go serve his country and learn valuable trades to make him a better wiser leader and man.. became a cop and went thru the ranks and succeeded without selling out and keeping it real because he grew real..the streets made him hard and to handle streets situations..educated himself to help other teens to not follow his footsteps. In his book, he mentions that the guns he had before were revolvers which doesnt need to be cocked back to use.

It is interesting that all of these stories start with we were good kids then it goes to how drugs were sold and people were robbed. Even here...He wanted to get away from that because he realised it would not be good for him, then he invites them into the new school and when they mess up his life he just says "it is what it is...they are my homies"....Way to go...

Cops shouldn’t be able to turn cameras off or lower the volume but they can I don’t know if the law on this is the same everywhere but that’s a major problem … thanks…
    GOD BLESS !!!

body cameras when not recording is recording one minute loop without volume and when you start recording thats when the volume comes on, the only volume you can lower on the camera is the beeping sound it makes every two minutes of recording....thats why when you're watching a body camera video from the beginning the first minute is mute because its showing you that 1 minute loop untill you actually start recording
