my heart fell apart when i heard these were going from sunderland depot, these were the best buses around sunderland and now they have been replaced by crappy optares :(
Optares didn't replace the Mercs, it was only more Streetlites and I do agree, genuine great buses and have been one of the best investments Go North East made back then, good thing one is preserved!
@@KH73637 they did for the first couple months though from what i remember, i loved mercs they were always so warm in the cold also, was one of the best things about them haha
