The Krispy Kreme Original Glazed when they are fresh and hot off the line is pretty much the best thing ever.
I prefer ANY donut other then Krispy Kreme. Even grocery store bakery.
Shipleys destroys Krispy Kreme in its sleep
@@222aztek Good luck with that brain tumor I hope you recover and get full use of your tastebuds again.
@@nickolasromano1479 Shipleys beats dunkin while it's awake and if it keeps dreaming it beat Krispy Kreme maybe one day it can do it in the real world and not just in it's dreams.
@@mystic37 Thank you doctor. Hurling insults at me for having an opinion is very compassionate of you. I bet you are very popular. You have crushed my feelings, hopes and dreams. Or not.
I am an old American guy and I just love this couple.... he has the cutest personality, and they are perfect together.
I agree
I agree, they're really nice kids
Krispy Kreme glazed is my gold standard. I grew up near a Krispy Kreme store, and we'd go for a doughnut after Sunday mass, and they had an old school neon sign out front that would light up when hot doughnuts were ready. Nothing else compares for me!
Hot now my favorite sign
Oh yes! I remember when it first opened locally going in and getting a fresh hot glazed for free while waiting in line best thing EVER!
Went to a KK once with the light on and the server grabbed doughnuts just after the ribbon of sugar. My favorite KK experience.
Try any local donut shop. Sometimes they are far tastier and you're helping a local business.
Yes. Doughnut/bakery shop doughnuts are always the best.
yesss! There's one close by that I want him to try. It's delicious! For this though we wanted to pair two that a lot of people would recognize. It would be fun to compare local vs chain!
Agreed!!! My personal experience was I liked Krispy Kreme more historically. But I definitely like local donut shops much more. I don't know how widespread BoSa Donuts are, but they're better, too.
I see what you’re driving at, it for the sake of their content it makes zero sense. I, in New Jersey for example, have no way of using their recommendation on some random local spot in their town. I, as well as everybody else (likely) have a Dunkin and KK local that I can go to based on their recommendations. It’s relatable. That’s what makes the content matter.
Ah yes, unfortunately the recent global craziness has shut most of the non commercial, small neighborhood donut shops down permanently in my area. They’re sorely missed 😢, Dunkin’, Tim Hortons, and the rare Krispy Kreme (there’s only one in 20 square miles, to at least 3 of the others) left.
I love how particular he is and she has probably the best smile on the entire internet
her smile is totally precious, she's a beautiful young lady
Suggestion: Alessio said his favorite American food is fried chicken. How about taste-comparing of some different fried chicken places? Or compare fried chicken sandwiches from different places?
Love you two together. You're both just the cutest!
Great suggestion!
@@ThePasinis Or...FRENCH frys 😄
I second that! That would be a great video!
I want to see him eat the donut fried chicken sandwich omg his reaction would be priceless
@@ThePasinis try Korean Fried Chicken.
Aw Alessio practicing his little script reminded me of my parents at the drive through struggling when we first came to the US.
Listen, I’m old. A million years ago, dunkin used to bake on site. It was way better. But it’s been trash for years. The paper receipt tastes better than the donuts. Sad.
Krispy Kreme when the hot sign is on 😋 I love them
A cop pulls over a man for speeding and asks him, “I couldn’t help but notice your eyes are bloodshot, have you been drinking”
The man gets annoyed and says, “Well Officer, I notice your eyes are glazed over, have you been eating donuts?”
There’s a Krispy Kreme near my house, they make their originals at a certain hour. The queue for it is always long. And rightly so! When fresh made, they are warm, soft, fluffy, decadent clouds 😘😘😘😘😘🤌🏽
I ate my very first Krispy Kreme doughnut in the last three years and I’ve hated myself ever since for having only ever had Dunkin Donuts doughnuts for more than 20 years, because Krispy Kreme doughnuts are so good in comparison.
I love when she says " That's why I'm here"... 💟 AND HE DID SO GOOD WELL!! 🍩💯 appreciate this contest lol😅🙏🏼🤌
You guys have crazy good chemistry. Love it, very entertaining!
I'm from Germany and we only have DD here in some cities. Well, let's say crippled DD, because it doesn't really taste as good as in the US tbh. Anyway, when I was in NYC a couple of years ago, I went to KK and I completely lost it. It escalated. I loved the donuts so much, I had to close my eyes. :)
Krispy Kreme is waaaaaaaaaaay to sweet for me. It’s a treat reserved for Daddy/Daughter Days in our family.
Krispy Kremes are so nostalgic for me. Randomly, at my primary school in Sydney Australia almost 20 years ago, the kids in my class would always bring in a box of traditional glaze on their birthday. I have no idea how this trend started but for primary-aged kids, it was the best!
I’ve been sick with Covid for 2 weeks and your video has entertained me the whole time. Great content. Keep it up.
Your mystery donut is an original DUNKIN DONUT!!!
Nothing compares to a hot Krispy Kreme original glazed donut. Nothing. They melt in your mouth! And you can heat them up for 8 seconds in your microwave the next day and they still taste fresh. Yummy!!! ❤😋
Krispy creme all the way!
yeeeeeeah!
Okay but Jessi staring right into my soul in the intro was quite intimidating 💀Has she considered being a horror movie actor? 😂
Up until a few years ago, my state of NY only had ONE Krispy Kreme in the WHOLE state, in the notorious NY Penn Station (ah yes, what a way to welcome tourists to the greatest city in America...by putting you underground; but it is improving starting with Moynihan Train Hall in 2021). Thankfully Krispy Kreme decided to open a big flagship store in Times Square, and now Manhattan has a couple but still none Upstate.
Haha this comment has us laughing! Alessio says everyday is a horror movie around here 😂 - great news about the KK in Manhattan too! We’re visiting this fall so maybe we need to stop by for donuts!
Krispy Kreme donuts by far!!! Especially hot glazed donuts!!
I'm a Canadian 🇨🇦 and I prefer Dunkin' Donuts.....we have KK here, closest DD is New York State.
I don't know if its a good comparison, KK is made fresh daily, Dunkin isn't, they are delivered frozen to the stores.
ahh that could explain the slightly dry texture. hmm...
I don't know about that to be true. They use to make them every morning. The bakers use to come in very early in the am. But then again McDonald's use to fry the burgers fresh to order. I worked there in the 70's. Haha
Our Dunkin back in the day made them fresh every morning. They had someone in there baking all night. We used to have donuts occasionally on Sunday night everyone got to choose their favorites.
@@high62609 yes. The good ol days right?. Krispy's glaze donuts are to sweet for me. Don't care for them
I moved out of Krispy Kreme-land over 60 years ago. I still remember how good their raspberry jelly filled donut was. And the glaze has changed over the years. It used to be sheets of flakey sugar, not a smooth coating.
This is the only time I’ll ever comment on a YT video. You MUST get maple glazed Krispy Kreme donut. Best on planet.
I love you guys did this! I swear by Krispy Kreme original glazed. There is no better donut.
My motto in life; even a bad donut is a good donut 🍩 👍🏻
You speak the truth 🙏
One difference between KK and Dunkin' is that KK actually fries their donuts and Dunkin' brings in frozen donuts and bakes them in house. Nothing will ever compare to a fried donut. 😃
Oooo! This is a huge difference! Had no idea!
@@ThePasinis Right!? KK will always win over Dunkin for that very reason. 😅🍩💖
Yes! Not sure if they still do it, but as a kid, my favorite part of going to Krispy Kreme was the huge window into the back, where you could watch the doughnuts being made. My favorite part was when they reached the part where they were flipped over in the oil. I always watched for one that didn't flip, but it never happened. 😂😂😂
That makes sense. That is probably why Dunkin's dough is always a tad too hard.
I loved this challenge! Would love you to find British sweets/candy and compare American to British. 😁
❤❤Krispy Kreme glazed definitely!!❤❤
It sounds way different Through a intercom... Your English is very good.. I could totally understand everything you said
I love watching your videos, Alessio cracks me up 🤣 keep the content coming.
May or may not have done this when my pregnancy craving was just “Doughnuts.” Krispy Kreme is delivered into the convenience stores from the shop an hour away and they were still better :)
Original glazed Kristy Kreme 😋
Dunkin Donuts are my pick, Krispy Kreme has a weird aftertaste to me. Denver has a lot of family owned donut shops that are tasty.
I cracked up at "who had the better speaker system?"
KK also has a custard filled, chicolate topped donut. They are my 2nd favorite next to the hot glazed.
LOL! The Krispy Kreme isn't a pumpkin--it's a Cruller.
Krispy donuts last a long time w/o molding = The most unnatural donut = Dunkin wins AUTOMATICALLY!!!!!
NUFF SAID.
I am a fanatic for Boston cream donuts. I remember trying KK Boston Creams and that tiny little KK broke my heart. I couldn’t understand why people are so crazy for KK if they can’t do a good Boston Cream. If I have to choose between the two, DD wins every time. It’s gotta be a yeast donut and not a cake.
Fun Fact! Krispy Kreme is actually a much better choice in terms of "nutrition." You keep saying how sweet it is and that you would feel bad eating it over Dunkin... but... it is much less calories, sugar and sodium then Dunkin! So... dont feel guilty... and eat Krispy Kreme! Lol The drinks are a different story though. KK has way more sugar in some drinks.
No
This is good to know. I prefer Krispy Kreme.
Guys, you’re killing me. I gave up carbs for a month and a half, and then this shows up on my RUclips feed!
There videos are always good 😊
Grazie mille Marie
They really are
Ikr 😊😜
Sis 💖💙
Southern barbecue ribs!
The Fail is comparing a original krispy to a cake duncan, whoa!!!!
So cute! If I'm eating a donut I'm not worried about nutrition amts lol. KK donuts are a little to spongy and sweet to me. DD aren't always fresh but the flavors are better to me. That being said our local Amish donuts are the best in my area. 😆
Love Kk and their chocolate ones with white cream and cherry
I knew the answer before you even started !!!!!!!!!! I grew up with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in my neighborhood and I never had Dunkin Donuts until 2009 or so and I HATE Dunkin Donuts !!!!!
They taste HORRIBLE to me !!!!!
However , you are right about the chocolate flavor on the KK Doughnuts in that they need to work on the flavor of the chocolate glaze on the Chocolate Cream and the Chocolate Glazed Doughnuts from Krispy Kreme . They DO have a bitter aftertaste .
But , overall , the Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are a MUCH BETTER, MUCH SOFTER DOUGHNUT THAN THE DUNKIN DONUTS ARE . I LOVE KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh to be young and able to do a challenge like this and not have it affect your health. Fun comparison!
Dunkin' for coffee and Krispy Kreme for donuts.
Nothing better than bojangles blueberry biscuits and dunkin donuts krullers mmm mmm good
I haven't been to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts in years, but I remember Dunkin' had a really yummy apple-filled donut that had some sort of vanilla icing and crumbles on top, like an
"apple crumb pie" sort of donut, and it was reeeeeeally good. I still think about that donut sometimes, lol. I wonder if they still make it.
They also had a toasted coconut donut (I think it was a plain cake donut but had a light glaze on it and then toasted coconut flakes?) That was really good too. 😋 They had a regular coconut flaked donut as well, but I loved the toasted coconut one. Yummy!
I get to try both while living in the States and Krispy Kreme was my favorite over all. Nos back in Spain only get to eat Dunkin...so 🤷🏻♀️
I went my whole life thinking that Dunkin had the best donuts, until I tried krispy four years ago. Their dough is just in an elite category of its own.
I love their vids sm😊😜
They're always the best
True ✨
Buttercream from donkin donuts 🍩
Krispy Kreme tastes amazing but Dunkin Donuts is me. You have great flavors, hot chocolates, coffees, teas, munchkins and more.
It’s atrocious that there were no raspberry or lemon filled donuts provided. Original, Boston cream, lemon and raspberry are my favorites
Where do you find raspberry or lemon filled at these 2 places?
Yes! Glazed lemon filled from Krispy Kreme is THE best. Yum!
@@valeriejack4483 Kristen Kreme usually has them since they’re on the permanent menu.
Love my local mom and pop bakery. However, Dunkin over Krispy Kreme, except for their classic glaze.
We had a Krispy Kreme in my hometown of Newington CT back in the 2010's I believe. It only lasted a couple of years before being closed, due to the over-expansion that they did that eventually cost the CEO his job at the time. But in those two years, we would get news stories a couple of times of week of cars lining up for a few miles to waiting to buy the donuts first thing in the morning and disturbing the senior citizens at the rest home (or whatever they're called these days).
Can't eat donuts (diabetes), so only can do certain muffins and bagels. For me D&D is hands down in that category.
I grew up with DD and then moved to Virginia for 20 years. It took me a long time to try KK but when I finally did, I absolutely loved them. So the difference I got from them is that DD is more cake-ish and KK is softer and very yummy. But game changer was when I tried hot KK, my goodness, it's like little fluffly clouds melting in your mouth. Try them hot...mmmm
Da difference is da sugar .
I fw dd bc it’s easier on 2 eat n tbh prob less fatening
Please do who’s the best pizza 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 papa John vs Pizza Hut vs dominos
thank you for the idea! yeeees
@Jacken I like papa John since it’s not so oily. But Pizza Hut to me has the best breadsticks..
I love how you get stressed when ordering …that’s how I feel ordering in Italy LOL
You shouldn't make the foreigner order at the drive-thru, that's mean!
@@LythaWausW I am the foreigner ordering at the drive thru-
Krispy kreme ftw love the original glazed
When I was a child, once a year or so, someone would come around and sell Krispy Kreme house to house. It was the only way we got them. It was a special treat to get some.
You two are a very nice couple, all the best for you!
Nothing beats a hot KK glazed donut. But I totally agree with Jessie the chocolate icing at Dunkin is way better.
I think you both hit on why I'm not as huge a fan of Krispy Kreme. Their original glazed is delicious, but most of their other donuts are topped with that glaze too, and it gets to be too much, too sweet. Whereas Dunkin has some wider variety, without needing to be glazed on every kind. Sometimes Krispy Kreme is melt-in-your-mouth good, but sometimes you want a different texture or not as super sweet, and I think you can get that at Dunkin more often. (Though definitely go in the morning when the donuts are still the most fresh.)
Im with Alessio on the tie between original Krispy Kreme and blueberry cake with Dunkin. Blueberry cake is one of my favs!
You to are just too darned adorable together. You make me smile because you're always smiling. I used to manage a Donut Shop and I absolutely love donuts so I'm not partial from one maker to another, even the grocery store donuts are delicious when freshly made. I have my favorites like Chocolate raised and Sour Crème. . But in reference to the Pumpkin donuts. As much as I love Pumpkin Pie and Pumpkin Cake with cream cheese frosting I'm not all that crazy about pumpkin flavored donuts. Don't get me wrong, I'll still eat them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order one...I think it's because they taste to artificial to me. Though I'm pretty sure Dunkin' uses pumpkin puree in their recipe they would make it taste a lot better if they added the cream cheese icing on them.
6 best selling donuts and your best selling drink. The second donut was 100% Boston Cream Pie donut.
Only tried Krispy Kreme once and was disappointed. They were original glaze and they weren't crispy or creamy - go figure. That was fun seeing you compare the two.
i love the ciao ya'll shirt.... epic
I agree with The Rock: Dunkin' all the way. The flour used is more substantial feeling that the pillow soft, airy quality of KK. The weird aftertaste may have been cooking oil that needs to be filtered. Same thing happens at Sonic sometimes. That bitter taste...the oil has been used too many times and it neefs foltwring or changing out.
Sorry you didnt get double chocolate ( chocolate doughnut with chocolate icing) or apple spice ( my fave) at Dunkin'.
Krispy Kreme is loaded with sugar more then Duncan they are both so unhealthy but if you need a donuts fix go with Duncan but only buy them in the morning because that's when they are soft and fresh After 12pm don't bother unless you want a hard donut ! I would never touch a Krispy creme donut never way way way too much sugar but if I get that fix about 1 time a year I'll go with Duncan but in my opinion BAKE OR FRY YOUR OWN DONUTS they will taste much better and you can elimate so much sugar
Sheldon cooper. That was funny
Krispy Kreme crushes Dunkin's dreams across the board in donuts but Dunkin has coffee that is on another level from KK.
That accent is the best! 🤩
next comparison mcdonald vs burger king 🤣
I love your kitchen guys
Team Krispy Kreme! but definitely not for breakfast. - I've only gotten glazed donuts though.
the glazed are elite!
To me, Dunkin beats KrispyKream on every donut. My favorite, you did not get to try, is FrenchCruller.
When coffee drinks are too sweet, I take them home and use them for coffee creamer. 😋 or drink them down and add more coffee.
I’m gonna have to say Dunkin’s because I haven’t ever eaten Krispy Kreme donuts since where I live there is not a single Krispy Kreme in the whole state, it might be banned, I live in Boston 😂
Dunkin Donuts for coffee. Krispy Kreme for their delicious glazed donuts, especially when they're hot.
You two should do those MunchPaks where you can try different snacks and candies from other countries. I feel like Australian and maybe Japanese would be good for Alessio. Lol
You all should try visiting local Italian restaurants and rating them 🤌🏻
That would be mean. They felt bad dissing a big chain like Olive Garden because of the nice staff, no way they are honestly criticizing a local business.
The Krispy Kreme one you thought was pumpkin is an old fashioned sour cream donut. I love them. Not a fair comparison, because no pumpkin...
This... This is the wrong video to watch after 3 weeks of hard no-carb diet. 😭
All jokes aside, it's really funny. Can't wait for the next challenge!
Alessio is hilarious. Love the shirt.
We have a place here in Southeast Texas called Southern Maid. In-cred-i-ble. Their chocolate filled are off the charts!
the donuts served at Tim Horton's are fantastic.
I worked for both companies and Krispy Kreme makes their doughnuts from scratch in their stores. Dunkin Doughnuts product is trucked in frozen. That's a big difference if quality and even the Dunkin Doughnuts Corporation will tell you they are primarily a coffee selling enterprise.
How oily are donuts in USA? In Czech republic american style donuts are so full of oil and they are sweet beyond believe, and I love sugar.
Silly, but fun!
KK is king in donuts. Dunkin' king for coffee.
I have to give Krispy Kreme their glazed donut a win but you have to be careful because all their donuts are very sweet. Dunkin Donuts has better regular coffee.
Adore your husband ❤ Wishing you many years together!! Maybe compare the fast food hamburgers?
