I hope you enjoy the official 2021 Prop Firm Recap. I tried to cover all the largest prop firm news, updates and scams of 2021. If I missed any please respectfully let everyone know in the comments below. This prop firm recap is similar to the RUclips rewind 2021 but for prop firms.
I am very open to feedback especially with my new set up in the new city. Let me know if you have any strong tips for improvement with the background or with editing this video.
I can't wait to find out what 2022 holds for the prop firm industry! The Funded Trader, My Forex Funds, FTMO, The Prop Trading, Lux Trading, the 5%ers and mentfunding especially seem very interesting and have a lot of potential for the new year in the prop firm space!

Merry Christmas, wanted to know if CEC paid you your profits after your first one that you posted the vid about and did you find anything sketchy about them yet, as I did get a 50k eval after you posted the payout proof that boosted my confidence, I passed the account in 3 days but it took 2 days for them to issue me the live they are slow sometimes but often it’s quite fast, just waiting for my payout.
@@gigabyte3544 I did get another payout from them, but since the account is so small and I hardly trade it, not really worth mentioning it. They do seem true to their word and hopefully will develop in 2022

I can see why retail fx brokers are now considering prop firms. Most retail traders are barely trading their money, they’re going after prop firms.. very interesting change in a short period of time in the industry

Not good anymore in my opinion. I've had a terrible experience multiple times both with them and their white labels. I made a video about this about 3 videos ago.

I agree with Trade Up. Not a huge fan of how my accounts have been treated so far with all the broker changes mid challenge and had some red flags towards the beginning with exness but we will see when they figure everything out!
My personal wish list; direct funding, high leverage, EA friendly, MT5, no upper scaling limit, no hidden rules or failure traps.

you should really allow local trade copiers with your own firm, good traders trade with multiple firms through the use of a copier. That's a deal breaker for me signing up with you

good but you can never really tell if a prop firm is a scam until its too late. can you? i think there will be many firm out that will scam the market. The Industry must be regulated asap
Is traders central legit? I’ve never seen any payouts for them.
Not a fan of them
Prop firm gives you a real account (with an established broker) once you're funded = you're probably safe. Prop firm only provides paper trading = at best shady (even if they seem to pay out, ponzi schemes do pay out at the beginning after all), at worst a scam. Choose wisely.
E8funding?
Bad offering it's only 8% max total loss. Will make a video explaining this in more detail soon
Another prop firm goes bust this year is DT4X
the funded trader being afraid of EAs shows that the business model is designed to capitalize on challenges money not profit sharing
Incorrect. I have explained in an earlier comment the reasoning behind this decision. Basically too many traders were taking advantage using EAs and has since been fixed. a solution is being worked on to bring EAs back.

If you’re such a fan of prop firms that allow EAs, why doesn’t yours anymore. Practically every other prop firm allows EAs to some extent but your is a flat out NO on all EAs. How do you plan on competing in the future with ones that do?
There's a ton of issues with EAs. One of the big ones is when the company also has a rule that doesn't allow multiple people to use the same strategy. I have had several people complain to me about their FTMO accounts being banned due to using the same EA as some random person and then FTMO sees that as if they were collaborating and banns everyone involved. This is not something that TFT wants to happen. There was also serious cheating going on via the EAs which is the main reason for removing them. TFT is looking into potential solutions to bring back EAs in 2022!

Do not use Traders central either. They have it dialed in statistically to have you end month at breakeven due to leverage. After 1st month I told them to cancel (before deadline) and they charged me for another two months.

I was only worried as I was the one that recommended The Funded Trader to her even thou I know her trading skills are not great but she killed the markets last year between Apr-Oct.. I've watched the video on Discord, Great to see her getting called out by 2 prop firms. Maybe her days now are numbered now.
Yes this Christmas I bought 1m of prop challenges ftmo 100k TFT 600k mff 300k... I hope to have a better Christmas next year 😂. Next month I will match the trade volume with my real account 🙌
