Jabari would make a great backup power forward to Sengun. Get us a shot blocking, rim running, lob threat Stone! Please! Sure, moving Jabari to small forward could work, although i believe Tari Eason would be a better fit as a starter with his development as a playmaking and 3point shooter. Amen could backup Fred, Jalen, or Tari along with Cam.
One of the few upside players I would draft he can play the four and the five and he would perfectly fit next to Sengun. Sarr a project but he has a lot of upside to be a legit all star level player. However Sarr not falling out of the top 2. The rockets need to trade up to get him so yeah Sarr going to be a Hawk or Wizard but like you guys said crazier things has happened
Still think Jabari will be better in his prime. He already out rebounds and blocks better than Paolo. His shooting percentages are similar. He just is not shooting as much whereas, Paolo is the go to guy in Orlando.
@@greglyon1402 Stop the cap. Paolo has handles in his bag which puts him on an entirely different level than Jabari. But Paolo went #1 so the Rockets didn’t have a chance at him. The Rockets should be kicking themselves for passing up Murray, Sharpe, and a couple of others. If a redraft was done right now…Jabari would possibly fall out of the top 10.
Real shit cause I was happy asf when it was rumored Paolo was gonna be a Rocket. Like Jabari cool but he’s not HIM tho I don’t see him as a true number 1
You know what bruh WE just 2 cats who obviously don't know basketball lol oh other than the fact Rudy t had horry who was a center who was a lot like Jabari at 3 ...oh yea Annd that's just to start off and create some mismatches early ohhhh and because we had 2 very good 3s but I think if we get sarr you have to atleast have bari sarr alpi out there 8 minutes a game you know end of the 3rd quarter ... but I would start a line up like that if sarr is ready or be looking to start em next year and you'll have Swiss army knives coming off the bench in amen Tari cam dillion who can legit play 2 -4 where ever you need em
Think if Rockets want to go jumbo line up, Buzelis fits better than Sarr with Sengun & Jabari imo. Somewhat still brings the defensive versatility Sarr offers but you dont have position overlaps. Sarr & Jabari combo is a little clanky imo. Sengun, Jabari & Buzelis frontcourt looks more functional on both side of thw ball.. Buzelis showed he can be a good weakside shot blocker, a switchable defender, steady handles & theoretical passing plus shooting..
Always great videos from JT and Madison, while Sarr would be a great defender to make an all defensive team. I still think our Achilles heel is our shooting. We need a Steph or Klay just total sniper from all spots on the floor who's good not only in spot shooting but movement shots.
Alex Sarr will either get drafted #1 by the Atlanta Hawks or #2 by the Wizards. He will not fall past #2. The Wizards have NO interest in Donovan Clingan.
Banchero on rockets instead of jabari and we would be a team that is fighting for contention...not just to make the play in.... big body with point style play.
Great pod guys. there is ABSOLUTLY no way this guy makes it pass the Wizards. even if he did fall to us I'm not sure we should take him. I still want to trade the pick or take Castle. Madison you won me over Lol. as for trading Jabari and the #3 pick? my view is why would we trade the #3 pick and Jabari for Jabari? the film I watch on this guy reminded me of Jabari.......NO THANKS. I realize it takes 2 to tango, but surely there is some team interested in the 3rd pick. I'm not against pairing Jabari and the 3rd pick for an upgrade at PF and I believe that is possible. we could also pair the pick with Dillion for an upgrade at SF. either way I prefer to move the pick even if its just future draft capital. the more I look at this draft the less i'm impressed. Castle is the safest bet out there IMO. Hey Jackson lets talk about some trade proposals please
@@greglyon1402 I would have to disagree Jabari is not on the level of either of those players. Jabari is a very polarizing player. you either love him or hate him. I think he is overhyped. he has hands of stone, he's clumsey, he can't dribble to save his life, he's a streaky shooter, he doesn't finish well around the basket, he doesn't rebound well for his size and he doesn't block or alter shots. I didn't have a player exclusively picked out for a trade, but how I just decribed Jabari leads me to believe it ain't hard to beat that
Donovan Clingan is the pick I want the most if not him Reed Sheppard but Clingan has expressed how he'd be able to play alongside Sengun, twin towers could do wonders for this team. JG has shown potential but it takes awhole szn pretty much for him to get into playing right, and as fans we don't have that type of time to waste watching a number 2 pick being mediocre and then balling the last month, Sengun has been way more successful in his first 3 years then JG has. I know people are going to be mad but its the truth we've all seen it, so if anyone is on the trading block it should be JG and Jabari but not for Bridges. I dont see very many people that could come in and mesh with the team we have currently even tho I do believe there is room for some improvement
Cam whitmore was going top 4 last year but we got him at 20. There's no knowing what other teams really think of players. If he falls to 3 I definitely would take him, even though its unlikely its not impossible 👍
Saar, Jabari, and Thompson would be an elite defensive unit. If Green can get into his game like he did for the month after Sengun went down, the team would be super scary. I could see Whitmore eventually playing SF and Thompson being the PG if he improves his PG play. And if that means trading Sengun, I would expect a massive haul for him.
Genuine question have we considered actually drafting bronny third and potentially getting Bron for maybe 2 years as the best possible Vet for our young guys especially since bronny is a defensive minded guard who has a pass first mentality brons genes with a 6”7 wingspan, if he blooms it’s essentially picking up a back up vanvleet and the plus side is the ability to pick up Lebron making us contenders as well, the rockets were a few games behind the lakers as well fighting for the play in spot picking up lebron would flip the script on the lakers spot for playoffs and let’s us at the bare minimum hold that spot also lebron wouldn’t need a long term contract nor do we really need bron long term…. Thoughts?
Tari/Bari-Sarr-Alpie.. tempting. Lets see if a Sarr may come out from Stone's hat this year
Appreciate what y’all are doing Jackson. Been a diehard my whole life.

He can play the 4 next to Sengun. And play the 5 next to Jabari… he’s the perfect piece for us. I wish we would trade up

All the rockets fans who wanted jabari over paolo should sit this draft out with their opinions
facts!
All of the Rockets fans who wanted Jabari, period, should sit this one out.

We need a Derrick Lively II type player on this team more than anything.
I would trade the 3 pick and jabari for Sarr if we could get him.
I would also consider trading Jalen and the 3rd pick for Sarr.

For my low end I have Nerlens Noel

Rockets will be playing the Spurs around ten games a year (including playoffs). Rockets need either Clingan or Edey to match up with Wemby.
Sengun ate Wemby for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We got that covered.

I would trade up for him. Give the 2027 brk pick for him top 3 protected
I wouldn’t trade Jabari for Sarr in a head to head trade let alone a #3 pick on top of that! Blasphemy lol

Atlanta wouldn’t make that trade. They would hang the phone up in the Rockets face.🤭

Donovan clingan is the picked. And Go to free agent and get the best 3 pointer shooter. Are go back in draft get Sheppard to. Let tate go!!
I don't see him being there at number three , thanks to what Dallas has done this postseason.
I dont know but I feel like Sarr not gonna be good in the NBA. Or maybe he will be but probably he needs at least 5 or more years to work on his game.
