    Hi Simon. Thanks for the video, great info as usual.
    Unfortunately bagged compost here is horrible. So, I've started tomake my own seed starting mix by sieving my own compost using a fine mesh, adding coconut cour and sand.
    I've had good results with it this year.
    The other reason I choose to use my own compost over brought in, is that I'm not introducing foreign bacteria and/or bugs, seeds etc. on to my land.

      All very good points Kim. It seems that increasing demand has reduced the quality and add into that not being able to use peat other alternatives are not up to the job. So yes, making our own is a great thing to do

      No choice here regarding peat, simply not available here lol
      Sometimes I miss Europe for the availability of products. On the plus side living here does teach you to work with what you have. 😁

      I don't think that's a bad thing though. I see many people showing their allotments and you can see how much they spend to make it look good. The whole point is to try and make the best of what you have I thought
