A friend of mine had her third child in the middle of summer vacation and her two children were just like this. Halfway through the month of August she told me I can't wait for them to go to school so I can spend some time with the baby. She loves Olive her children dearly but the 2 older children took it upon themselves to be the caregivers and they kept telling their mother that's OK we got it we got it. She was very happy for the help and the love they were giving their new baby sibling but she just wanted to have some alone time with the baby. Once they get home from school they would take over again. Very happy and loving family.
My oldest son made me open my mouth so he could tell the baby hello. 😂❤ then the dr. accidentally told him to save his clothes. My son looked at me and said "what have you done?! This is supposed to be a girl!" 😂❤
That was so adorable. I remember going to the mall with my 2 girls aged 3 and 4 years old. This lady came in with a wheelchair and was missing one leg. My daughter asks where her leg went. The lady said she lost it.. both my daughters told her...we'll find it...and started looking all around the clothes and under the tables... I was so embarrassed but the lady started laughing and she just loved it. Kids are so cute.❤
Babies bring such a beautiful spirit to a home. My wife and I wanted eight but only got seven and we're so grateful for each of them. We have 23 living grandchildren. We've lost three & miss them even though we never knew them.

He died when I was 5 so she never had any other children. I would have loved to have been an older sister. I did have an older brother but he died many years ago as my mom has passed too. I’m the only one left. I was told that the 3 of them looked forward to my birth. Now many years later being the only one left alive I wonder if they are in Heaven or wherever waiting for me again. My husband is gone too and most of my friends. No I’m not alone completely!
The fact that the older sister was so excited tells me that she was never made to fell less than or left out when her parents were taking care of her younger brother. That’s a great family dynamic there!
My half brother and I are 15 years apart. I remember going to the store with my dad and stepmom to make a registry for him while he was still in her belly. I cried my whole way around that entire Babies R Us ✨

The oldest girl is always the little mom herself. Reminds me of when I was a kid and my siblings feel like my kids and I’m not even a mother yet but I just know because of moments like this we all feel the love for our parents and little siblings

All of us were overwhelmed with joy, and 13 years later, our sweet sister is still the light of our family. I was 12 when she was born and I cherish every moment I’ve had with her since. I’m now about to have my own baby and she’s so excited to be his auntie
My ultrasound tech was so sweet to use the machine to write "hi big sister!" On the actual ultrasound image for my older stepdaughter. My husband gave it to her on the plane when we picked her up for summer visitation. I was 9 months pregnant when we finally got to see her and we had the baby a week later lol she cried so much with happiness. Its the best feeling when your older children are happy about the news!
When my little sister was born I asked when we could return her. I even ran out of the hospital crying 😅 It's all on tape, I'm still emberrassed. I was 6, I'm 31 now and we're bestfriends. But back then, this was not the reaction I gave my mom when she told me she was pregnant 😂 I honestly have no idea why I didn't like the idea of having a sibling, haha. So this was refreshing to see 😂❤
When our "only child" was 4 we told her she was going to be a big sister. She bonded with HER baby immediately. 31 years later ... They may argue like animals, but, NEVER EVER GET BETWEEN THEM!
I'm pregnant with our third as well. My 4 year old daughter was so excited when we told her she's finally getting the baby sister she's always wanted, she she gives my belly hugs and kisses every day! My 2 year old son also just started to understand there's a baby in my tummy and just tonight started giving my belly hugs and kisses too. They have both been playing with baby dolls way more often and playing together. My daughter calls it "big brother training" for my son, who has become obsessed with babies recently 😭❤️❤️❤️
It took me a long time to realize people are valuable. I saw how hard my mom struggled as a single mother and didn't have any role models, so it felt better to detach and not have kids. Luckily life can change in the blink of an eye and brokenness can heal. I hope to one day have kids now and now also have people that love me. Peace can happen for anyone ❤

that’s so sweet. my parents told me that when they told my older siblings my mom was pregnant with me, my older sister was excited, but she didn’t really understand what was happening. my older brother on the other hand had a different reaction. he was always this butch guy who struggled with deep emotions, but apparently when he found out about me, he cried. happy tears, of course. he passed away two years ago, and it makes me so happy to see videos like these.
This was me when my mom had my little brother. Id always wanted a brother because I already had an older sister, so I begged for years to have a little brother. Soon enough my mom gets pregnant and I was so happy. My little brother was born around 4 months after my 6th birthday. I loved hanging out with him and he was my favorite thing in the world, and he still is. He'll be going into middle school soon, and while we have hard times sometimes and we get annoyed at one another, we love each other very much, and while I hate the thought of him growing up, I cant wait to have him as a best friend when we're adults. 🩵
I've realized over time when a child get excited about about baby coming in, they react the way they were raised. Subconsciously because they know what that child is gonna go through.
