Your best video yet .... although perhaps I am slightly biased :-) Thanks again for working with me on this project, it was an entertaining couple of days! Hopefully got a few more projects coming up in the future with the Solar PV so looking forward to doing that at some point.
Hi Bob Martyn! 😂🐕 Thanks for the comment. Yes, I will look forward to doing that at some point in the future. You were also great company and not a bad cameraman as well 👍
Great vid mate...keep em coming and i would like to say a Biiiiiiig Thankyou for the selfie pic at the cov elex show with you Nick and Adam....felt bad as i could not remember your name Dean but i thought Doctor was good enough lol...and sry for asking while you were eating lol
Another top video. Just wish there wasn't a long break between videos which I do understand you can't put everyone up. Keep up the good work and look forward to the next one.
Hi H S thanks for the comment. The last few weeks have been manic and I haven't had a lot of time to edit the videos, apologies but that's what it's like when you don't have a big film and editing crew
Great video Dean however this was a distribution board fed from another consumer unit so why did you carry out Ze by removing earth? This should have been Zdb test by keeping the earth connected anyway thanks for the vid!
Hi Krazy, Thank you for the comment. I would disagree with your ZE/ZDB description. On a separate consumer unit or DB you would still measure and record the ZE/ZDB by disconnecting the Main Earthing Conductor. Thanks for watching.
@@DoctorElectricRUclips thanks for the reply however, what you have done at submain DB by removing Earth was to avoid parallel paths should have done at the main consumer unit but since the DB you were testing was fed from another consumer unit so treat this DB as a circuit and should have done Zdb test just like another Zs test we do at the end of circuit by keeping the earth connected to include all the resistance.
Hi Daron and thank you for the comment. Answer is: there is no "normal" size of cable to install for a shed or garden, it would depend on what the customer wants to run from the garden room and what's available in the whole installation. If there's no limits then I'd like to install a 6mm 32A supply.

Hi Nigel, great meeting you, Doctor is perfectly fine.
No problem mate, hope to see you again sometime
Great stuff again. Appreciate that you can trust a first fix from someone who knows the regs but does not work as a pro like yourself....('Betty')
Thanks, yes the customer knew what he was doing and we was in constant communication throughout, he done well 👍

Do you know what, I thought the same thing but forgot to say something about it, thanks for reminding me!

what size of armoured cable do you normally install for shed or garden office or conservatory?
Hi Daron and thank you for the comment.
