I’d love to make one. I have a few videos scheduled ahead. But once those are on the table, you’ll see them in shorts first, and then either in a group of reviews or a single review.
10:02 Leviathan Wilds is an incredibly fantastic game, highly addictive and really clever. It's basically the board game version of Shadow of the Colossus. I am amazed to see it on a shelf, they are usually entirely sold out. There is a reprint / expansion campaign coming soon. And if that is the Kickstarter version of Hellboy on that shelf, that would be a really rare find. Retail version is not really worth the money. Edge of Darkness, for me as a John D. Clair junky, is a great card crafting game. The solo mode is fun and can easily be built upon.
Second to say Leviathan is great. If it’s there when I go back I’ll grab it. I’m not sure about Helboy if it’s the KS version. But the IP isn’t for me. I’ll look closer at Edge of Darkness.
@@BoardgamesforOneSo no Hellboy and no zombies, you ain't making it easy. 🤣 Did you ever play Uprising or Skytear Horde (they were on the shelf around the 12 minutes mark). Both I can only recommend.
@@Biodelic now you’re talking. Now that I’ve played Rurik, I want to play another Kirdonskiy game. I don’t know about Skytear. Might have to look at it.
Foundations of Rome is a great game! Ease of set-up and a relatively short game time are a bonus. Very fun, and the minis really enhance the theme! Highly recommend!!
Wow Mike another great video and more games added to my want list. Seriously makes me want to make the 6+ hour drive down there to enjoy looking around and spending way more money than I should and hoping my truck could haul it all back. 😊 Keep up the great work.
@@BoardgamesforOne it’s a great solo roll and write that is about planting and gardening. Seems like a topic or theme that might be boring, but it’s not. It plays so well solo and I really enjoy the cascading effect of bonuses that happen. Keep up the great work, I’ll be interested if you try any of the games made by this group. (Fleet, three sisters, motor city and now French Quarter)
@@BoardgamesforOne it is one of the great things that I have found particularly with x and write games. It is cathartic to cross off and do a solitaire game. I trust any theme 25th century puts out Good luck and have a great time picking the next game you play!
Foundations of Rome is an AMAZING game! And given the size of the box, it is shockingly fast to set up and clean up. Play doesn't take too long, once you get used to what the building icons mean. My husband and I love it (although we don't do so well, because we do a fair bit of hate drafting with the plot deeds...). :)
I was about to say this looks familiar, then you mentioned it was Cape Fear Games! I was visiting a couple weeks ago and grabbed a few games. Wish I lived closer but my wallet and wife I'm sure disagree

this is great as usual... awesome stuff and love how you support the local gamestore... very awesome...
Thanks so much. I’m just glad yall stick around for it.
I would love to see you explore solo RPG's.
Could be worth a feature 🤔

Another recondition for Rome. Sounds like I’ll keep an eye on it. Thank you.

Ha! Spend responsibly. If you come down come down for Board Games at the Beach. A three day mini con they host.
I will look into that as a possibility for a mini vacation for myself and my wife. Haven’t been to the beach in years. 👍🏻
@@KevinA2112 I couldn’t make it this year so I’m determined to have the calendar clear next year. If you come, maybe we’ll be able to say howdy.
first time watcher, what a fantastic games store
Welcome. I hope you stick around. I’m super lucky to have the game store.
Great stuff. I would love to see a round of French Quarter being played. I can’t find it available in Canada, but I’m a big fan of Three Sisters
I’m weakening to it each time I go. It may happen. What’s three sisters about?

Hate drafting is the best. Sounds like a good game. And visually it must really pop.
Foundations of Rome is a great game! My game group has played it the last 3 weeks.
Sounds like it. I’ve heard only good so far.
Darn it! You just made me buy 3 more games! lol
As long as it’s responsibly done I have no remorse. which ones?
@@BoardgamesforOne Japan, daybreak and isle of trains!

Where's 90's Ken? Now Blippi. You're like a cameleon to customize yourself, bro.
