Space hulk came out late 80s, it came with plastic miniatures, heaps of genestealers and two marine squads, the missions booklet had scenarios that would show how to lay out the tiles which would create the ship for each game. I’d love to come shop with you at your game store, there was so many great games, imagine what we missed.. xoxo
1st Edition Space Hulk quite easy for me to find since it is only like 30 some feet from me. Picked it up at Origins back in 1989 and yes it got me into Warhammer 40K & later Warhammer Fantasy Battle.
Awesome video! Excellent selection of games, I'm glad you pulled up Metro too, the last game is one of the best! Love BSG! Very well done, would love to see more! 👏😺
@@boardgameswithb7 thanks B. So you’ve played BSG? It may be something I’ll have to play at a convention but looks great and classic. I’m definitely going to see about taking deeper dives.
3:00 lol I have Struggle for the Galactic empire, and a ton of even more obscure titles. 5:00 also called Conquistador in Europe. It's a good game. Sold it later. 11:00 metro is fantastic the first 10 games. I sold it later.
@@BoardgamesforOne I've been "into gaming" all my life. Adventure books in 1980 video games in 1983 board games 1 every few years from 1990 onward; then a few decades of. let''s just say nothing cardboard-related... I'd start counting from 2017 when I discovered kickstarter. Currently painting the mini from Dead Cells. Do not buy that game. Too addictive.
@@BoardgamesforOne nobody tells me anything either. I somehow stumbled into it. Just painted the mini yesterday evening. My reflexes are good enough to have survived for 50 years, but too slow for the video game, so I can't tell you the comparison. I don't think I need Slay the Spire TBG any more, but probably will back it EOY anyway.

This was fun as hell. I'd like to see you do this again. Doesn't look like any shortage of things to look at!
@@breakupgamingsociety2170 thank you! I barely got started so I think the owner may very well let me dig deeper and more targeted.
Fun watch. Ever heard of King Maker? That goes back to the 70s. I'll be looking for more videos to see what you find. DG
Would love something that far back. Thanks DG, more hunting to come.
So many treasures. You're a lucky man, my guy 😊❤️
@@mickeymyers13 for sure. I’m going to have to actually take one home next time.

It’s possible to make an appointment to shop back there. I think they do two hour blocks. I barely barely glanced the tip of the iceberg.

@@chestersleezer8821 sweet. Going way back.
Saw Shadows Over Camelot! One of the first "hidden traitor" games we ever played.. you would flip the board when you made certain progress.
@@ebaydbp I love hidden traitor. Might have to look at that again. Thank you.
Lord, I wish we had stores like these over here, with a café, and I'll have my third place. No such luck...
@@vee-bee-a it has a cafe attached called the Sideboard 😎. Unfortunately it’s a two hour drive for me so I only go once a month.

I wonder if Noble Knight in Wisconsin would let you roam around in their warehouse but fun video and games i never heard about cept space hulk.
@@GrizzTactix yeah that’d be cool. They’ve got some gems. But Wisconsin is a looooong drive.
