+Diego Portillo Sorry man... I don't have them go through PDI to be serviced and prepped until they are sold. That way whoever is buying it knows that a random salesman hasn't fired it up and revved it to the moon on a cold engine etc just to show someone what it sounds like. Also, that way if it sits around for a while and becomes a leftover model it hasn't had a battery draining to where it'll never be at its full potential and gas going bad etc. There's a long laundry list of things haha. I just know how picky I am when I'm purchasing something so I try to pass along the same respect ;)
Thanks for understanding. Appreciate that man, trying to up the quality on all of them too as from now on all of my walk-around videos are shot in 4K. Also, if you ever want to check out more details and reviews on them I've got loads of info up at www.HondaProKevin.com . Thanks again for checking out my videos and for posting up too.
+ClockworkSkateTeam Sadly, there is no rhyme or reason as to why Honda sends certain colors to select countries and not others. Example, the 2016 CBR500R has 6 colors available but we only get 3 colors in the USA. Here's a breakdown of all 6 2016 CBR500R colors as well as pictures and specs etc: www.hondaprokevin.com/2016-cbr500r-review-specs-price-cbr-500r-sport-bike-motorcycle-cbr500/
+ChaosOfSpartan Yeah, if I'm not mistaken Honda still has some available in the warehouse to order which means they can be had within 7-10 days. I'd have to double check though... Sadly, this color will not be offered for 2017 here in the USA.
It's too bad that they won't be making them in this color for USA in 2017! But you are saying you think they might still have some matte black with ABS available from the warehouse? Also, do you know if they will have red with ABS for 2017? Thanks for your help!
+Javier Legarda I'd grab up the CBR500R over the Ninja 300. Here's a quick overview of the HP & TQ between both the 16' Kawasaki Ninja 300 and 16' Honda CBR500R... 2016 CBR500R vs Ninja 300 Performance Rating / HP & TQ Comparison: 2016 CBR500R - 49.6 HP / 31.7 TQ 2016 Ninja 300 - 38.8 HP / 19.9 TQ The TQ gains on the CBR500R vs Ninja 300 will be huge when it comes to using it to commute and just an overall 'daily rider'. The nice part too on the CBR500R is you get a very noticeable bump in performance but you also still get killer MPG as the 16' CBR500R still is rated at 73 Miles Per Gallon! Here's a 2016 Honda Motorcycle Horsepower Chart / Comparison with Power-to-Weight Ratio figures I calculated up too that might help when comparing some of the different 2016 motorcycle options you have ---> www.hondaprokevin.com/2016-honda-motorcycle-horsepower-torque-specs-review-cbr-sport-bike-cruiser-touring-scooters Hope that little bit of info helps ;)
+Evil209er Yes sir, this color is available in the USA. Here's details on all 2016 CBR500R colors for the USA and other colors for the rest of the world: www.hondaprokevin.com/2016-cbr500r-review-specs-price-cbr-500r-sport-bike-motorcycle-cbr500/
+Shakedown Test The purpose is quite a few things actually. The CBR500R is half the price of the CBR600RR. The CBR500R has half the horsepower so it's a lot more "friendly" when it comes to new and or experienced riders. Not everyone needs and or wants 100+ horsepower but still want a "sport bike" and may not like the typical cruiser, naked, adventure, dual-sport or touring styled bikes. Insurance is also substantially cheaper. 99% of people out there can't push a CBR600RR to its limits so the CBR500R is a great choice for those that feel 30 horsepower isn't enough of the CBR300R and 114 on the CBR600RR is more than they need. The same could be said about quite a few bikes that stair-step up in size. I could go on and on but then this message will turn into even more of a novel haha. What exactly do you mean by "Honda should have kept the 600cc bike"? It hasn't gone anywhere and is still in production. Thanks for checking out the video and for posting up too. Always in interesting to hear people's thoughts and opinions.
I see your valid points because I once desired a 250CC bike and wanted the "sport" look. But a rider can learn on a 600CC and quite frankly, it's optimal for daily riding. 1000CC is definitely more for experienced riders. I haven't been into motorcycles for a few years so I am shocked at the whole 500CC release. Out of curiosity, is your rear width tire same as the stock 600RR?
henry thomas Yessir! Funny enough, I used the word "sex" multiple times in my initial review of the bike. Honda definitely hit a homerun with the entire redesign on the 2016 CBR500R. Wouldn't have hurt my feelings though to add a few horsepower but I can see why they didn't in the grand scheme of things.
Honda has better reliability and is a smoother bike , not always as much power but I'd rather have a Honda anyway or a Daytona because triumph make good bikes

Any idea why this colourway isn't in the UK?

this bike or ninja 300? to conmuting and daily use...
this bike have more power?
+Javier Legarda I'd grab up the CBR500R over the Ninja 300. Here's a quick overview of the HP & TQ between both the 16' Kawasaki Ninja 300 and 16' Honda CBR500R...

Hope that little bit of info helps ;)
I had them both on a Tour (at least the 2013 edit) and the Honda is much more powerful! Wouldn't change again^^
Is this color in us
+Evil209er Yes sir, this color is available in the USA.

I'm looking at this bike or the Kawasaki Ninja for having fun here in LA. Must be fast and all Matt Black. Very Cool 👍✌😎
bro whats the price?
What's the price for that
Meu Pai tem uma suzuki 750 cilindrada mais ele que vende e compra essa .
CRB500R or R6? hard choice lol
Jew Jitsu R6
For a track bike I would have to go for the R6 but on the street the CBR500R is hard to beat at half the price, 73 MPG, more comfortable etc etc.
Nice
Looks very familiar.
Even I like the aggressive and more sport look of R3 but if I add money a little bit. I can upgrade from 3xx to 4xx. What your guy think ?
Get the 500r it has more power on the highway and it's a forgiven bike for beginners.
In my country, there's no point buying R3 or Ninja300. CBR500 costs only $800 more, and you get nearly two times the power.
What was the purpose of building a 500 cc bike? Honda should have kept the 600cc bike.

can I run from the cops on this
+chris samuel lol yeah or on foot, that might be the safer way to run from the cops haha.
Plot twist: he is a cop
damnn
+henry thomas lol my favorite comment of the day!
HondaPro Kevin it's so sexy
henry thomas Yessir! Funny enough, I used the word "sex" multiple times in my initial review of the bike. Honda definitely hit a homerun with the entire redesign on the 2016 CBR500R. Kawasaki Ninja better designed.
Honda has better reliability and is a smoother bike , not always as much power but I'd rather have a Honda anyway or a Daytona because triumph make good bikes
Ninjas are outdated boy.
Kawasaki pretty much produces the same bike for more than a decade and adds some visual improvements...and that's all.
it is not CBR#500. more like CBR150. lol
