I think for these skin types you should use clinique, they are not fragranced and very skin friendly and do magical things with your skin, lush might be very natural but the pore-clogging oils can actually cause breakouts, also their products are very "raw", clinique is very scientific and thought-through on a molecule level in comparison.
Miss MountainDew imo also much more bang for your buck in terms of finished product and amount. Lush is a rip-off for most things, the only thing I buy is their fresh face masks and bath bombs. I can find a nice, non-animal tested vegan shampoo that's sulphate and silicone free at Costco for the same price and triple the product.

The Ultrabland cleanser is the makeup remover!! Not the 9 to 5. Ultrabland even takes off my waterproof mascara like a dream. I will never buy any other makeup remover again lol. Also you can return whatever you don't like for store credit and get yourself some bath products you like! :)

Not all lush products are good. You have to read the ingredients...most of their hair products have surfates, which dries your hair out. Other products have "-paraben"s (I.e. Methylparaben), which are DEFINITELY not "safe synthetics", as prolonged use will cause cancer. And these parabins are in a lot of other products that aren't just Lush products
Alot of lush products are actually not that natural or good for you. Use the app "think dirty" and scan your products. I was surprised to see that many of them were level 8 carcinogens.

So I don't know how much water you do or don't drink buuuuut I had that sad texture issue on my forehead and after doing my research it said that it was because I was dehydrated and blah blah blah main point was to drink more water and once I cut out all other liquids and just drank water for a straight 5 days ALL that texture disappeared
The same thing happened to me. I have super dry skin and after I got a kidney stone I had to start drinking a ton of water every day to pass it and prevent any more from coming back. Even though I felt like shit and was super stressed my skin looked amazing. I figured out it was the gallon of water I was drinking that caused my skin to be so much better lol.
I think most of Lush's makeup is better suited for more natural looks. Like just a bit of makeup to freshen up your face. I don't think you're really suppose to use a lot at a time because it's not meant to fx cover up blemishes probably.

FWIW I once poked myself in the eye with a fully loaded brush of lush black eyeliner - like turned the white of my eye totally black with product - and while the poke hurt, having the product in my eye caused NO irritation, I could see fine, it washed out easily, and I suffered no ill effects afterwards. I’ll agree the products don’t give the effects of MAC or CoverGirl, but they’re SO gentle for your body. If you ever have any irritation or allergies from makeup, I say it’s worth it to try this brand.
I've experienced the same thing with the magical moringa product, I definitely recommend that to put on maybe a half hour or so before applying because of the texture of the product when you first apply:)
I'm very, very happy with Lush makeup! I have very sensitive skin and Lush is the only brand that makes mascara and eyeliner that I can wear without my eyes having a burned feeling and hurting. I know it's quite expensive, but for me it's more than worth it, because it means I can actually wear makeup. I do have the luck of having very long curly lashes of myself which makes the mascara look better too, but I actually find their applicators easier too use than drugstore brands

I used to use the 9 to 5 and I really liked it. The lady at the store told me apply the lotion to my face and then use a warm wet cloth to remove the make up and product, she also said to use cotton balls.
