What is it that gives your bass that great sound? Is it the guitar, the amp, recording material? I get an ok sound while recording, but nowhere near as metallic and funky as yours xD
Man, I know your yt channel since the beggining. One of the very first videos I watched it's the Hump de Bumb cover... I gotta say, every year you get better and better. Your pizzacatto was strong and agressive, and even in softer songs. It's nice to see that with experience and age you're understand dynamics and getting different sounds. A lot of people confuses bass playing with guitar playing and people want to get extreme sounds from Bass. But it's a sign of personal grownth when you understand the dynamics while playing. Great job, great sound.
This will likely get lost, but... Dave, how do you connect GK MB Fusion to Your audio interface here ? Do you use XLR from DI out to the Input channel of the interface?
wonder how you developed the right hand speed to do those rolling octave triplets... do you do them with two fingers? three? why don't you use the thumb?
