I could listen to this guy all day long. Very wise.....
For fellow Hoos fans, Boeheim's comments on UVA and Bennett begin at 10:10.
Thanks
He's right about Bennett and UVA. Shit happens, and everyone seems to forget about the injuries over the past 4 years at tourney time to Justin Anderson, Anthony Gill, Isaiah Wilkins and, now, D. Hunter. CRAZY bad luck.
I agree about with what he said about Virginia, but I do know the feeling the others were talking about. In the moment, if you are 15 and 16 and probably don't even go to a tournament, you have time to realize that you aren't going to make it, but a game like that crushes you - in the moment, it hurts worse than any other thing in sports. But a little bit later, you look back and get perspective and this is when you know that you would rather be where they are.
Syracuse, N.Y. for the past 22 years originally from BX. So i adopted the hometown squad right away they been dope since the 80's family from here use to keep us up on Syracuse
I'm from Philly and I have always liked and followed Syracuse Basketball - mostly due to Jim Boeheim; He's great coach who understands the point of playing the game of basketball; Many criticize him for only playing a zone, but that argument just doesn't hold any water. On many occasions, like this one, he will jump right in the fire to defend a deserving player or coach. I wish Syracuse luck this year.
Almost more than his coaching, press conferences like these are what I'm going to miss about Boeheim when he's gone. He just has no fucks left to give.
Let’s Gooooo CUSE
🏀💯 go Syracuse Rochester New York
LET'S GO ORANGE!!!
Loved to hear his thoughts on Izzo
Jim is probably the greatest college coach of all time he never talks bad about others he keeps it real n this Syracuse team has 3 players n no bench it's incredible what he's doing with defense n very little offense skill if we could rebound Michigan st would of scored 30 lol
Guess this year proved his point!
BTW, I HATE it when MSU has to play Syracuse. It's like Wisconsin on steroids. They just beat you up, slow you down, and drive you nuts. They have one of the best, and most frustrating and boring defenses you'll ever see.
Congratulations on a well deserved win. I'd like to think we just were cold shooting, because we were getting some good looks, but maybe that "D" just got up in their heads. Either way, you have to give the orange credit - out manned and out gunned, in wicked foul trouble most of the way, and they just kept doing what they do. Good luck from here out. Unless Ohio State or Purdue gets to the final (unlikely) I'll be cheering you guys the rest of the way. BTW - do us a favor and at least beat Duke - OK?
+east side
You have no class.
Who was he talking about before marek
Who was the worst player he's ever had. David Patrick? Greg Davis? Ethan Cole? Mike Jones? Sam Spann? peter Wynne? Mark Konecny? Chucky Gelatt?Erik Rogers? Anthony Harris? Ed Geddings? Rich Harmon?
My guess, only a guess, Fab Melo
He was hardly the "worst player I've ever had".
Steven Chappell George papadakos.
He was hardly the worst player JB has ever had, either.
