Nice comparison. Just a couple of pieces of information, (1) the 88p hose can be replaced, you just have to take apart the compressor..(2) the Gobege is 5.65CFM (not 4.65 cfm) and i assume this is at 0psi. The 88p has 1.47 cfm at 0 psi. and the cfm drops off to 1.2cfm at 35psi.. according to Viair performance data. The Gobege puts out 3.8 times more than the 88p at 0 psi . Not sure of the performance drop .... so people's "expectation" would be a similar saving in times..if the 88p was giving you 2 min/tire on avg, the gobege would be expected to be about 35 -40 sec. But you got 95 sec .. That's only approx 1.3 times faster... This suggests a faster drop off in Gobege performance as tire pressure increases compared to the 88p. I had seen a similar comparison comparing the Smittybilt 2781 (5.65cfm) to the 88p. The tires were 34 inch (285/75/17) and airing up 15 psi to 33 psi. The 88p took 2 min to fill the tire, the SB2781 took about 1 min which is twice as fast as the 88p. I think you're running a 265/70/17 from your comment ) but i would have expected something similar from the Gobege.. so i was surprised at your results,...i e. The gobege time was much closer to the 88p. The SB2781and Gobege are basically the same unit but the SB2781 aired up a bigger tire 30 sec faster than the Gobege. This seems to suggest your Gobege is under performing.
What was the deflator called you have? And what psi did you deflate 18 to and inflate to 36 ?For your suv you have a 2 inch lift and your tires what do you have to make it taller? Thanks new to over landing.
It's the Boulder Tools tire Deflator. There's a link in the video description. I air down to 18psi for trails and 36 for on the road. With the 2" lift and wildpeak at3w 265 70 17 tires I added about 3" of ground clearance. It definitely helps adding some clearance.
Loved the intro to the video and night and day difference between these two. Seems like a no brainer to save your pennies for the Gobege. Well if you have some more storage for it... Do like the size and cost of the wee compressor.

Lol. Yeah it's nice to save some time when you're done on the trails and ready to head home.
You get in the higher air pressure and I think there will be a stark difference.
Thats what I figured.
Gobege or go home!
Hahaha
