Jim Yost Well said, but the reason these people aren't discovering new genres in music is simply because society has them where it wants them. Society is tuned to make people dull and uninterested in new things so they don't get too "much" knowledge. They simply are not interested in new stuff and this is the thing I can't understand for myself.
+Prismo Your right Prismo, there is an unhealthy conformity in music these day's and that's because I think it's cash ! music today is seen as a product to be made, sold and then forgotten about, whereas in fact music is a mighty powerful force that handled right can open up the mind and even heal, music is of course a vibration and but everything around us is a vibration, so there is positive music , like this here, that allows the mind to alter it's frequency to a higher level. We must be careful therefore what we allow into our ears, Hillage is one of those rare artist's that can create positive vibration's as Steve has studied music and it's effect's and instead of taking the commercial route has instead tried to enlighten his fan's and listener's.
