This is exactly the information I was looking for! The Cousin gets too heavy to carry and I thought the Avec might work better for me. I wanted to be sure the Favorites and My 100 pages were in both parts of the Avec. I'm glad to see that they are!

This was such a great thorough review thank you! I wanted a cousin but I bought an avec this month because I wanted to start a new system in September so it was pointless doing it in a full year book. But I was just about to buy the cousin for 2023 & then I suddenly thought… I actually think I prefer the avec 😂

I think the less weight to carry & the fresh start mid-year are the most compelling for me, but also, I really like the wine coloured binding on the avec, so they’ll look really nice all together on a bookshelf.

I’m going to be using a Hobonichi for the first time in 2022 - I bought the full year to replace my leuchtturm bujo in a travelers notebook (along with a few other inserts). I love the idea of having the whole year in one notebook but I do worry about the weight and size especially since I’ll need to add another notebook to supplement the fact that I won’t be able use multiple pages for one day. Now I’m wondering if I should’ve bought the avec instead of the full year. Plenty of time to buy the avec and decide, but the shipping is so expensive that I don’t know if I like the idea of just purchasing the one thing. Great video! Thanks for the comparisons!

I went from Avec in 2018 to Full year in 2019 and instantly felt regret! My book is beyond chunky and can not be an EDC now which means I had to add in an additional A6 Techo Avec to this year🤦♀️. Back to Avec for 2020 and I can breathe easy now! Lol.

This is perfect! I’m in a full year cousin with a stalogy half year in my LV Desk Agenda and it’s incredibly heavy. I’m looking forward to getting the Avec in the 2020

Great video! This is my third year using the Hobonichi techno full year. I am trying to decide if I want to try the avec for 2020. I love all the ways I am able to plan in Hobonichi. A dream come true would be to have a cousin in English or to get rid of the Japanese quote at the bottom of the daily pages.
I was a full year book person this year, but bought the Avec for 2020.
What was your primary reason for switching?
The planner got too full with all the stickers and tip-ins and photos.
