Try gently blowing on them and offer them a treat or some spinach (any of there favorite greens ) with water on them. Also keep a try keeping a distance and don’t make eye contact for too long cuz then they’ll feel like they are getting preyed on and speak to them in a soft and gentle voice. I do these things with my female budgie and she always calms down within minutes. Lmk how it goes

As far as I know, it's best to give the bird around a week to stay in the cage and get used to your home, I think it's advised to spend time with it during this time like sit beside it, talk to it, read, do homework etc. , My family got our first bird 2 months ago and this is just some things I followed and did when she came :D , anyways, I wish u well in taking care of ur new bird!

Good luck, it's so exciting. My budgie is great at laying eggs....then killing the eggs. I don't know how but she actually throws the eggs out of the nesting box. I don't know what to do. I removed the box about a year ago and she hasn't laid any eggs since. My cockateil pair however are great parents. They had 2 feom the first clutch last year and it looks like there's 3 fertile eggs this time around.

Hey, you can definitely get one budgie but you will need to spend time with it at least 2-4 hours a day plus giving it free outside cage time, if you wont do all of those things your budgie will get depressed in no time. And about your other question, I don't know where you are from but you typically get budgies from a pet store or a breeder which you can look up online in your country. My budgie fell down in a hole between my closed . I didnt hear her or notice, i tough she was Just flying around. I let her fly rlly often and Dont rlly pay attention bc shes mostly close by. I was abt to check on her and i noticed i couldnt find her in her regular spot. I started Panicking. Once i found her, she could walk for a couple seconds and she had weird eyes. She didnt show thoose kinds of behaviours like u said, but she did start twitch ing her eye a bit. I Dont know what to do to calm her. I told my dad but he says its fine, i dont think it is. Im Just scared. The moment i got her into the Cage she started eating like crazzy What should i do?
Sorry to hear that:( You can concentrate all your attention on him so he won't feel lonely, but not overpush it. Or you can wait a bit for him to calm down and get him a new friend
When budgies go through night terrors they are usually start freaking out inside the cage and crushing into each other, if you notice your budgies going through something like this it's best to turn on the lights and let them calm down

Keep putting you arm in the cage nice fluffy pink or not to bright colour jumper , cover ur hand and do that few times a day for a week … they should start to jump on your arm .. then when they do that , do the finger on Perch near them … at first with hand covered only half way in the cage .. if they do go mad … pull your am back just stay at the door … baby talk good boy good girl while doing this xx
At night there are often times when I'm sunanbulsing and makeing noises without even noticing and my budgie often get scared and starts flying astound the room like crazy. I usualy wake up and turn on the lights and if he fell somewhere I go to pick him up and ty to calm him down [1]
[2] But this time for some reason he was more aggressive and bited me. It's not the 1st time he bites me but that was the hardest bite he have done. I know he doesn't hate me because we play together. But there are just times when I will need to get him in the cage or move him somewhere else to clean his tree.

My NEW budgies that i got the day before yesterday ALREADY LOVE ME. Well, atleast one. Her name is Loki. Loki loves me to give her millet and likes me touching her. She has a boyfriend name Ozzy. Ozzy is not like Loki though. Loki is a Rare Parrakeet and Ozzy is a blue parrakeet. And Loki is already perching on my finger!!! Also both of the budgies like me in their presence. They almost fall asleep! Is that a good thing that Loki's very calm????
I smacked my budgie by accident because it flew by my face while I was playing the game and now it’s like he thinks I did it on purpose and flys away from me now . I could still get him on my finger but it’s just a problem now
Mom bought two budgies recently and I am the one taking care of them but the problem is they are always plucking their feather I have been trying to tame them for over a week with the 5min finger inside their cage but I think that makes them more scared and one of them her tail is like trembling or vibrating most of the time and they barely make any sound or move freely inside their cage I have tried to keep the cage open but they refused to get out plus whenever I get near their cage even if I am just bringing something from the drawer beside their cage they quickly go as far as they can from me even tho I never tried to hold them and their chest is moving rapidly please I Don’t know what to do and they do most of the things you said in the video what should I do
