Snap! Our D4 4 has been idle for most of the season too - one trip to Abersoch in March but then in April, the trip we didn’t want, the one that broke my humerus, gave me an additional sideways joint in my upper arm and put paid to any other jaunts during the Summer. Until today that is when we head off to Anglesey! As for the arm, I found hand exercise balls useful to reduce the swelling in the hand and I was advised to keep the elbow active. Good advice in my case as the original plaster- cast ran from the shoulder to the hand and immobilised everything, even the thumb! I can only assume they mixed too much plaster and felt obliged to use it all. Almost 6 months on the brace is gone, the arm is working again but remains on light duties. The caravan is packed up and ready to go. All we need now is some decent weather.😮

Hope Sadie makes a full
recovery and you can make up for the lost trips next year.
We also lost our Lab Bonnie this year, she was one of the reasons we started caravaning 8 years ago now.
We totally understand how you felt after losing Eric.
You give dogs so much love and get so much back in return and it's extremely hard when they pass away 💔
Hi Calv, thanks for the lovely message, I've passed it on to Sadie - sorry to hear about Bonnie - yes it is very hard - I try to think of the good times we had. We've enjoyed the few trips we did have this year so should be ok next year.

As the owner of Bailey discovery d4-2 bought new 2021 I'm interested to know were the damp is located on your van ?
I'll show you in more detail when I do the vlog but it's nearside rear corner and off side front corner. Only underneath the van, not inside, as far as I know.
