I'd been to a vintage race at Del Mar the year before, a couple of club races, a WERA motorcycle event, and a short track race at South Boston with my cousin years before. But the IMSA series, and prototypes in general were my first bit racing love. This was a golden era for sure! Was stoked to see the action in turn one that day!
