@mianomuthii use mud bricks made on site and use lime clay mortar mix to join them. Only use cement for tie beam and any area that needs load bearing, put a concrete pillar to support heavy roof if really necessary otherwise the outer perimeter wall should be at least 15 centimeters and plastered with cement with waterproofing on the outside. To ensure the cement plastering stays in place, I use chicken wire mesh to cover the wall before plastering. Waterproofing repeated inside at least one metre from the floor and on the floor to prevent water damage. Also on bathroom and kitchen walls. The rest are almost same. this house will be three times cheaper and will last as long as The Great Mosque of Djenne in Mali built entirely by mud in 1917
Your project is coming up well. I have a question..when a biodigester has been installed in the client's absent, can someone be able to verify the size if the work is already done and the place sealed?
Hi Muthii nimejenga nyumba ya 3 bedrooms lakini roof niliwekewa vibaya hata unyesha ndani, it has costed me like 3m.nahaijawahi Isha vizuri. Please fundi wako anaweza nitengezea roof vizuri
@@mianomuthii the bright tiles look very good while new but sooner or later they get stains no matter how much you clean.its even worse if area has red soil.the white grout stains and its very hard to keep white.try grey grout ya dr fixit.
Good info. I have a question, if you had chosen to use the chumas huwa naona zinatumiwa to suspend the gypsum boards would the cost still be as high. Basically asking how much more expensive or cheaper is it to do timber brandering as compared to hizo chuma za gypsum?
😂😂😂 this is funny but true. I also did a structure of 2 outdoor toilets and a shower and sincerely, I stopped counting the cost coz it was more expensive than I imagined. Kwanza walichimba so deep 😅.
I am very sure there are ways to cut costs that can almost reduce the cost of your construction by ⅓. Hiyo pesa ni mingi Bwana for that work done. I feel could have done way more
