This is one of the first what ifs that actually had me feeling like i was watching a show, with investment into each character and everything. The final fight with all the zombified fighters was honestly disheartening and i LOVE the characters that got to shine in this story like Tarble, Moro, and Hit. Amazing never give up writing stories

I basically found your channel in the recommended and I was not prepared for the roller coaster and the additional mileage you added by adding in every possible dragon Ball extra material into this. You earned that sub. Apologies for any errors in that last bit because I'm having you speech text because I've been listening to it at work and I finished it up while driving home.
This is by far the best put together. What if I think I have seen rarely do these blow me away I haven’t even gotten to the halfway point yet of this video great job

I really enjoyed this story for the most part. The artwork for the characters was great and I like the idea of the space opera like galactic war lead by the saiyans. And while I think his creation was… a little contrived I do like BabyBuu as a primary villain, with necromancy being a really interesting idea for dragon ball. I also really loved the use of more obscure or underused aspects of dragon ball like Tarble, the galactic patrol, the Kanassan, and king cold. all of that was really cool. My only problem though was the final arc. Personally I didn’t particularly care much for the sudden timeskip as well as the handling of the King Cold. He felt… oddly insignificant despite how much he was being built up. I think it was just that we only see it through flash back that had thrown me off. Not to mention… I think BabyBuu was sort of wasted, or more the war pack in general. While I think Tarble, Granola, Merus, and Kakarot all had cool fights… but no one except Kakarot felt like they were necessary till the end. Kakarot just takes BabyBuu down on his own and the others just kinda watch after their fights. Their involvement felt more like “okay what cool space characters could I give fights?” Not saying that all the fights in the tournament section were bad or had no emotional impact… but it felt like they weren’t serving as much of a purpose. Plus I also feel like there should have been an actual fight between BabyBuu and Kakarot instead of just Kakarot beating him up. And for my last criticism… Hit didn’t need to be there. I will say to bring it back to the positives (since I don’t hate this what if), I also really loved all the original art used for this, even if there are only a few bits of original art like SS4 Kakarot. P.S. I wouldn’t mind the idea of an epilogue that explored where some of the characters ended up.
I always wish we would get a spin off series like this, this was amazing and well thought. Another story I wish Raditz had more involvement in but none the less I enjoyed it.

Yeah it takes time for a saying to build up resistance to having that tell graft. And you have to work up to it. This was shown and Dragonball when grandpa Gohan told Goku to work on his tail between his weak spot and the next Martial Arts Tournament Goku was immune to having his tail grabbed
Do GT, i promise I have the perfect plot. Kakarot, Granola, and Moro end up using the dragon balls to get the saiyans back but they have accidentally used the black star dragon balls or something like that. They get through all the dragon's but here's the thing with the fusion part against Omega Shenron, Kakorat fuses with Granolah, Broly, or tarble. If tarble doesn't destroy him.

Not sure what you mean. Kakarot isn't a canon character for one thing. In the original canon Goku hitting his head ptetty much erases the chance of Kakarot as a person ever existing, Raditz even laments this fact when he arrived on earth. In new canon Goku having no recollection of his lineage and never going through any of the trials and challenges of the saiyans litterally alienates him to their entire plight, a massive aspect of the first two arcs of the Z-era is his denying his saiyan heritage and fighting as the earthling Son Goku. Even then we still see traces of Kakarot in Goku and in this story vice versa. At the end of the day Kakarot is just a kid who wanted to get stronger and play with his big brother free and happy, thats pretty quintessentially Goku like. As for Vegeta his character is honestly barely altered, he just ends up reaching the point he's at mentally around say the Moro saga where he can be selfless and compassionate because his upbring like Kakarot's here has changed so much, he's not be taumatized by bending the knee to Frieza for half his life, however his personality is still well within character. This actually goes for just about everyone in this cast honestly I'm not seeing where I've too drastically altered most people.

I don't want to rewind but I've missed something, if someone would be so kind as to explain what happened to Broly? How did his spirit become apart of Kakarot? I know he sacrificed himself to stop the golden ozaru, but I must have missed what he actually did. Fusion?
It was remebered, just wouldn't have been very effective. Spirit fission worked specifically on Moro or fused opponents because what he did was consume energy, BB is killing people and taking control over their souls which are usually sent to the otherworld service station to be judged, however with that control even if they get seperated from him by spirit fission he can still just command them to come right back since they won't just dissapte or return to their owners since they're dead.
Also No ability in DB works better than just straight power, even in the Moro saga spirit fission became useless once Moro went into endgame mode and started fusing with the earth because Vegeta couldn't seperate the energy from him faster than he could just suck it right back up lol
While i usually enjoy more lighthearted stories, recently that's changed. I absolutely loved the different environment and style for this than just doing canon, hell even having Tarble and some of the lesser known characters. Vegeta and Goku seemingly having opposing personalities due to their backgrounds was fun and interesting to see. Zarbon having a chance to shine and Morro actually not being a straight villain was fantastic. King Cold being an antagonist was surprising but welcome since he's usually just fodder and goddamn fhat final Big Gette Star transformation he had was badass ASF. Question though, lol was Tarble's paramore the robot woman he had in the movie, or Zarbon!!!? Honestly i don't get the issues people have with this, Goku by nature was OP ASF due to the power jump of SSJ to SSJ4, especially since from what I've seen power levels being based on physical and mental conditioning. Having a strong enough body and mind to wield the power, Goku just needed to fully come to terms with his life before the near decades long time skip. The only thing i couldn't taie seriously was Baby Buu, like i had to control my laughter thr first few times i heard his name. I just kept thinking if Babidi and Mue cooing at their little baby boy inside of the tube like proud Papas lol. But anyway good story dude.
That is one way to look at it, Toriyama says Ki is made up of 3 aspects that require mind and body to synchronize, genki (energy), yoki (courage), and shoki (mindfullness) so one could look at his struggles near the end as Goku not being mindful and applying stuff he'd just learned like meditation in this new chaotic situation
The fact Moro ended up becoming an anti-hero and saving the universe really does show how great the writing is

It was remebered, just wouldn't have been very effective. Spirit fission worked specifically on Moro or fused opponents because what he did was consume energy, BB is killing people and taking control over their souls which are usually sent to the otherworld service station to be judged, however with that control even if they get seperated from him by spirit fission he can still just command them to come right back since they won't just dissapte or return to their owners since they're dead.
Also No ability in DB works better than just straight power, even in the Moro saga spirit fission became useless once Moro went into endgame mode and started fusing with the earth because Vegeta couldn't seperate the energy from him faster than he could just suck it right back up lol
While i usually enjoy more lighthearted stories, recently that's changed. I absolutely loved the different environment and style for this than just doing canon, hell even having Tarble and some of the lesser known characters. Vegeta and Goku seemingly having opposing personalities due to their backgrounds was fun and interesting to see. Zarbon having a chance to shine and Morro actually not being a straight villain was fantastic. King Cold being an antagonist was surprising but welcome since he's usually just fodder and goddamn fhat final Big Gette Star transformation he had was badass ASF. Question though, lol was Tarble's paramore the robot woman he had in the movie, or Zarbon!!!?
Honestly i don't get the issues people have with this, Goku by nature was OP ASF due to the power jump of SSJ to SSJ4, especially since from what I've seen power levels being based on physical and mental conditioning. Having a strong enough body and mind to wield the power, Goku just needed to fully come to terms with his life before the near decades long time skip.
The only thing i couldn't taie seriously was Baby Buu, like i had to control my laughter thr first few times i heard his name. I just kept thinking if Babidi and Mue cooing at their little baby boy inside of the tube like proud Papas lol. But anyway good story dude.
That is one way to look at it, Toriyama says Ki is made up of 3 aspects that require mind and body to synchronize, genki (energy), yoki (courage), and shoki (mindfullness) so one could look at his struggles near the end as Goku not being mindful and applying stuff he'd just learned like meditation in this new chaotic situation
@@PlusUltraMan yeah that's what I figured. This Goku also meditating sounds kinda impossible given his more aggressive, not stay still nature too.
