This build got such a facelift in 2.4. And what a delightful spectacle it is! I love that most of the skill hitboxes are RNG, so you end up just covering the entire screen in damage sources to hedge your bets. It's also interesting that, given how impactful and intertwined the synergies in that tree are, you can do reasonably well by leveling up all five fire skills in equal measure. Definitely unusual in that regard, and one of the reasons the fire druid is my favorite fire build. Of course, now I'm on the endless hunt for a +3 Fissure, Volcano, Armageddon pelt to make a Flickering Flame in :P
It needs to be said that the main source of damage (and satisfaction) coming from Molten Boulder is it's ability to push smaller enemies in front of it and roll over them multiple times. Before 2.4 only speed, but mostly cooldowns, keep it from being one of the funniest abilities in the game.
I love Druid's fire skills and since the buffs i actually prefer them to Sorceress skills, but it's just so hard yo justify choosing the class without Teleport...
Hmmmm the biggest pro of the Fire druid imo is how freaking cool it looks. I think Armageddon and Volcano are two of the best looking skills in the game. It's awesome that it's now at least viable, even though Wind still is better imo.
Yeah many builds are almost unusable with a controller. Much less accuracy with hammers, teleport, tornado, blizzard, meteor and especially firewall lol. So many skills that make the game feel clunky without a mouse
I really prefer the fire sorc over the fire druid or fire assassin. I just don't like skills/spells/attacks you can't aim in any ARPG. I'd rather do reliable/aimable damage, even if it's lower, than random splash damage or unaimable projectiles. Long casting delays bother me too. I rarely use skills like Meteor.

Fire druid is now really fun to play!

Good timing I just started a fire druid yesterday.
Fissure was always so BOSS in normal, up until A4.
I just made a fire druid, idk what gear to use, i use feral rage and fire claw. 1 point into the summon tree.
Aimable skills? *Confused console noises*
Why can we have mouse and keyboard support yet? Would it really be that hard?
