Will the bridge function allow you to use bigger pots or pans or just a griddle?

Hi there! The bridge function on a cooktop or range typically connects two adjacent heating elements to create a larger cooking area. It's primarily designed for use with a griddle or a long, flat cooking surface. While the bridge function can accommodate larger cookware to some extent, it doesn’t necessarily increase the overall size or capacity of pots and pans. Instead, it allows for the use of larger, specialized cookware, like a griddle that spans multiple heating elements. If you’re looking to use bigger pots or pans that are wider than a single heating element, using the bridge function might not be the most effective way. However, you can still use multiple burners simultaneously to accommodate larger cookware, though they won’t be connected as they would with the bridge function.

Hi! Thank you for checking. This may vary based on the model of your unit. We recommend visiting your owner's manual for proper and correct cooking instructions.

Frigidaire customer service is IMO not what I expected. Had to wait on hold for 8 minutes started to speak with the agent and was disconnected. Redialed and had to wait for another 11 minutes finally got to speak with a lady in the Philippines who could not answer my question. I asked to be transferred to an agent in the US but she refused to transfer the call. So I tried the chat feature and had to wait almost half an hour for an answer which was not an answer because of a mix up or some kind of technical difficulty.
