Exactly video. I have shared this to my FB. An acquaintance fell victim to a romance scam, even when she was told by friends it was a scam. Lost a lot of money and still will not admit the truth.
Heartbreaking to hear what happened to your friend. So glad that you are sharing it to make others more aware. My dad was almost scammed. First, he let someone have access to his computer, and then they somehow talked him getting money orders for them. Thank goodness, the Walmart customer service rep alerted him to the fact that he was probably being scammed when he turned up to get money orders. He was so embarrassed to tell us, but thankfully he did so we were able to quickly change all passwords to his accounts. This is a man who had just retired from being an engineer a couple of years before, so he was no dummy. It can happen to anyone.
Thanks so much shawnakosanovics, really appreciate you sharing this story and YES, it can happen to anyone. These scammers are persistent, skilled and will use any opening they can to gain access, and steal to someone's money. Thank you for watching and Stay Awesome!
Thank you for sharing. I told my husband to make sure his mom (89) knows not to give remote access to her computer to anyone other than his brother and him. Nearly every day I get phone calls from people claiming that there's pandemic money due to me for each employee I kept on during the pandemic! 😂 I'm retired, but I never even had any employees when I was self employed, way before the pandemic. Scammers!
Good morning, TB. Excellent video and advice!! I’m always warming my husband about scammers. Our generation grew up trusting one another and I think that plays into this. I’m so sorry for your friend but the blessing is that he had you as his close friend. Thank you for sharing this important information. 🙋🏻♀️👏👏👏👏
Good morning nf2885 and thank you! This is a huge problem for anyone who spends time online, social media, etc. Stay vigilant and thanks for watching and your input! SA!
Thanks for this important message. These stories are so hard to hear. There needs to be some kind of second step in wire transfers to confirm with the account owner.
Excellent video TB, good reminders to always be vigilant whenever you’re doing anything on your electronic device (s). We need to remember what we went online for and to be on the lookout for anything that looks suspicious. I recently got an email about a credit card that needed to be updated and a link to walk me thru the process, and then it hit me…🤔my wife handles all our finances…(delete). Also whenever I receive a spam call my phone doesn’t ring and later on during the day I’ll lookup that number using my Reverse app and it’ll show me whether the number is legit or not, and afterwards I’ll block the number and delete it. The worst experience I’ve had with scammers was on our move down to Florida, the moving company stole some of our items and broke other items but in the end we looked at it as lesson learned and moved on plus we got nicer furniture that actually brightened up our home and lives…👍👍Again Thanks for an excellent and timely video…
Thanks victor and glad to see you have your own process for dealing with scammers! Appreciate you watching and for your detailed comment, Stay Awesome!
There should be a special place in hell for scammers. Sorry about your friend...a tough lesson learned. The President of the Better Business Bureau in Chicago often mentions the tip off to the rip off is when someone wants you to buy something in 30 minutes or less. Don't call your spouse or friend or think about it. You have to act now on this. Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks you for watching laurallampe, much appreciated. I believe he's getting past everything now and really there is no choice. Bad mistake but fortunately not a fatal one...Stay Awesome!
Great video. We all have to be on allert. It’s going to get worse in the near future with AI being able to copy voices or pictures that could be compromised for blackmail.
Hi terrychan, it certainly could get pretty challenging. Everyone needs to be vigilant and pay attention to the sites and Ads you click on. Thanks for your input and for watching!
Hello there buzzerbaby and yes I came across Scammer Payback when this all hit home for me. These guys not only provide great info but they take action. So glad your a fan. Thanks for watching and for jumping on to share your feedback. Stay Awesome in Richmond!
Hey T...all good here hope the same for you guys. Shirley's wrist has healed up nicely, thanks for asking! As for this situation it was very difficult to hear what he went through but at least he got some $ returned. SA, kiddo!
I can’t began to tell you how many times I received phone calls and several emails about me getting money or offering me grants or from places that say ups or Amazon but i delete, report them as a junk calls and click block calls. I’m relieved I thought I was the only one getting these calls and emails.
Once again, I have a reason to suspect my devices are spying on me. I don't live in FL. I have never searched through YT or any other Alphabet app for information on FL. My parents just put an offer on a house in the Villages, though. How did YT know to suggest this to me? I do watch a lawyer who sometimes talks about scams, but this is just too close for comfort.
Well certainly YT, FB and other online resources track each individual. Tough to avoid for sure, any and all are tracking activity constantly. Thanks for your input freethebirds!
Thanks for sharing this, I got a call from someone saying they are from Medicare. I was suspicious because they sounded like they were calling from a foreign country. In addition, I know Medicare doesn’t call unless I try to reach out to them.

Incredibly valuable, sir! This is happening everywhere. Esp found accounts w/legit bank logos and ‘your package awaits…’
It sure is and appreciate your input!
Very helpful and thank you, Tracy!
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!

Hello tracymorgan thanks for watching and you are not alone, just not enough people talking about it!
If that pops up, pull the power plug to shut it down.
You got it bobweber...Stay Awesome!

Hi TB 🙋
Good Morning noreenn, hope all is well and thanks for stopping by!
You never give information.
Wherever there is money, there is someone wanting to steal it.
Exactly Pete and thanks for watching!
