It seems like nerf has finally been listening to the community with their last few blasters. The motoblitz was also actually worth buying, and a few others aswell
I was wondering that too. Drac had done some (according to him) very under-compensated consulting with Hasbro a decade ago, but he is now seems to be on board with Dart Zone.
As someone who actually likes the colour scheme on the Wild Edition Elite 2.0 blasters, I can't wait to get my hands on a StormCharge. I have an Alpha Strike Flyte CS-10 already, but the StormCharge looks way more well-built and actually mod-friendly.
Great video, I'm actually pretty excited to get my hands on one of these! However I was a little distracted by the fact you are my NEARLY IDENTICAL CLONE! No joke, I wouldn't be making the comment otherwise
Thanks for the video. In my opinion the Storm Charge looks a lot like a minimized Rapid Strike. It’s neat thought for sure. 5:02 well I guess I am not alone in thinking that. 😅
Val, you are the absolute man for opening that up for us so soon!!! That just hit the shelves like 2 days ago at my Walmart. I almost bought one today but the trigger pull was very heavy and gummy when I held it at the store and I put it back. What do you think of the trigger pull.
I bet this would be cool to use with the tri strike and mediator attachments, shape wise anyway. Maybe even those tigerstripe delta trooper pieces too.
The worker nightingale is, in my opinion, the best (easy to get) side arm for competitive play (obviously the Pew Pew is the best for competitive games). The hammershot is ideal for casual games and HVZ.
What the heck, they're reusing the Stock from the Recon MK II and the Modulus "suppressor" barrel again?? Can't Hasbro ever come up with a new idea these days?
Hey I know I’m a few months late to this video but I just bought this so I can play nerf with my nephew and it worked for a couple hours and then the gun jammed up, I hold the bottom trigger to activate the motor, and then try to pull the trigger and it just won’t shoot. Do you have any recommendations because I just bought this😂
Short darts are superior to full lengths in pretty much every way. More compact, better aerodynamics at high velocity. I don't think Hasbro will ever abandon full lengths entirely. That would secretly alienate the existing consumer base that only buys standard blasters. If anything, they might make a separate like like rival.
@@ValTek_Armory if you need more range and accuracy then switch to rival or something like that. But the crappy half length darts are no option for me and many others.
Your not Valour ,that workbench is too clean
What you don't see is the mess everywhere else 😅
Hopefully someone will eventually make scans of the grip parts that were clipped in so we can print replacements if needed
I was thinking that too. It would also help to customize the size of the grip.
Hasbro: maybe I don't want to be the bad guy anymore... *hires actually good engineers again*
I cant wait to see the integrations people will do with this, this seems almost better then the stryfe I have to say...
Wait until Captain Xavier turns two StormCharges into half-dart dual-wielding full auto pistols.
I'm sure he already has a couple on order
It seems like nerf has finally been listening to the community with their last few blasters. The motoblitz was also actually worth buying, and a few others aswell
The wild series seems to harken after modded blasters. the Trailblazer was basically a factory-modded Hammershot.
WAIT. Who’s working at Hasbro now?…
A good way to make up for the failure of the Phoenix in my opinion
13:57 agreed. There is a reason the Stryfe has been a mainstay in the hobby for about ten years, it’s a good blaster with a lot of mod potential.
Its funny how this lools like a minimized rapidstrike, it feels like some nerf engineers probably do mods too
Awesome video as always. I wanna pick up atleast 2. Also, I know Slug is working at Buzzbee now, who's working at Hasbro!?!
Given that they are only about $30 USD with tax, not a bad pickup at all
I was wondering about who is working at Hasbro now. This has a lot of aesthetic nods to the community though.
Thanks for this review. So good to see a decent review of new nerf products. These are therapy for me! 🇦🇺
I think this would definitely be great for a mod and a paint job!
Wait, who's working at Hasbro?
I was wondering that too. Drac had done some (according to him) very under-compensated consulting with Hasbro a decade ago, but he is now seems to be on board with Dart Zone.
The return to paddle releases is just sublime given how icky and stiff the recent in-the-trigger-guard releases have been
more side button releases would be good too
As someone who actually likes the colour scheme on the Wild Edition Elite 2.0 blasters, I can't wait to get my hands on a StormCharge.
I have an Alpha Strike Flyte CS-10 already, but the StormCharge looks way more well-built and actually mod-friendly.
Seems like the Delta Trooper attachments would look good on it.
Great video, I'm actually pretty excited to get my hands on one of these!
However I was a little distracted by the fact you are my NEARLY IDENTICAL CLONE! No joke, I wouldn't be making the comment otherwise
Strange. And you have my last name. 🤣
I am not into the know, what new person is working for Hasbro now?
Thanks for the video. In my opinion the Storm Charge looks a lot like a minimized Rapid Strike. It’s neat thought for sure. 5:02 well I guess I am not alone in thinking that. 😅
Yea the Storecharger! I'm really loving this profile so far! Looking for it at my stores locally!

It could be better. Auto kit should fix that tho
Valour! This blaster looks so cool.
Is it BETTER than a stryfe tho....?
Is good that Hasbro is almost coming back to what it supposed to be
Their share price is falling. They need to do something or they'll lose investors
I bet this would be cool to use with the tri strike and mediator attachments, shape wise anyway. Maybe even those tigerstripe delta trooper pieces too.
Looks good! Plenty of mod opportunities
Man! This is a fresh one. I’m super excited to get one!
Just be sure to have a couple guitar picks on hand 😆
I shall.
It's quite similar Adventure Force Spectrum
FINALLY A STORMCHARGE REVIEW
First on RUclips! :D
@@ValTek_Armory no its Nerf Taiwan first 😝
glad you got one my friend. the raider stock looks good on this blaster
Add a long strike blue barrel also and it looks fine
Thank you for this video. I also had trouble with the grips.
dayum, without the stock it looks like a bolter from 40k.
I really need a sidearm....Do you think this blaster would be a decent sidearm?!
Depends on how you run
The worker nightingale is, in my opinion, the best (easy to get) side arm for competitive play (obviously the Pew Pew is the best for competitive games). The hammershot is ideal for casual games and HVZ.
Gah, yeah, those stupid grip covers... But I'll take those over solvent weld any day. Good video.
Now you know where to pry first!
Funny to watch this again after the Stryfe X was released. You got your wish : )
The stryfe X is a monkey's paw
Nice!!
looks great!
Great video can't wait to see what you do with it.
Don't leave us hanging, who's working at hasbro? Is it me? Did I mis my first day of work?
Great video! Mine arrived today. I’m very excited to see it is what I hoped it would be inside. 🔥
Just be careful about the clips!
It's nice but can't go back to hasbro after a MK3
I like the MK3 but it is pretty bulky
what would you recommend more between this and the Motoblitz?
Depends on if you like bullpups or not (i LOVE bullpups!)
@@ValTek_Armory can't say that I've ever used one, but they seem pretty nice. The air-powered shotgun on the bottom seems like a major plus too
Curious how it would look with the mp5 stryfe part on the front and the full filled stock to match
I might of missed it but what are the cronograph readings for this?
Didn't bother given how pretty much all stock Hasbro flywheelers hit about the same
I'm more concerned with the modding side of things
@@ValTek_Armory Thanks
@@ValTek_Armory yeah a lame 70fps
That looks like the Flyte magazine
likely is
What the heck, they're reusing the Stock from the Recon MK II and the Modulus "suppressor" barrel again?? Can't Hasbro ever come up with a new idea these days?
I always like getting more of the proximity barrel, but yeah, a different stock would have been nice
that looks good tho
A step in the right direction
Indeed. I want to make a cool kit for this
Stippled my grips put on a folding worker stock and a modulus mediator barrel/ shotgun attachment... so ready to mod this
Good idea. I was way ahead of you on the worker stock lol. Fits perfectly with the battery box on the other side.
Hey I know I’m a few months late to this video but I just bought this so I can play nerf with my nephew and it worked for a couple hours and then the gun jammed up, I hold the bottom trigger to activate the motor, and then try to pull the trigger and it just won’t shoot. Bad dart maybe?
Check if anything is stuck in the flywheel cage
Looks a bit like a bolt pistol
So proud of you
This screams G3 at me. The way the main blaster is built, with a few cuts would fit the bill.
Everything is good but the colors. Well that’s personal.
easy enough to paint it
@@ValTek_Armory that’s true, but imma kid and my parants won’t let me do that
Second part ? Was expecting the shooting test, accuracy, fire rate and FPS.
I don't bother with stock Hasbro blasters anymore. I'm more concerned with the modding side of things.
@@ValTek_Armory based
I kinda want to pick one up to repaint and slap a worker honeybadger handguard on the front
I just got this gun but how do U shoot it please because I have no idea how
You need batteries.
You kinda look like the postal guy lol
I *do* like my muzzles ribbed...
👀
looks almost like a bolt pistol from 40k, just take the stock off.
I‘ll quit the hobby if they switch to short darts.
why?
@@ValTek_Armory i hate short darts because they are another ammo type and not the standart one.
And my drum mags would be useless

i would have cut myself a hundret times on the carvingknive
Looks like a straight up rip off off the adventure force spectrum shape, with the nose cut off, like Dracs derez kit.
please don't autokit this... it's such a bad platform and we vote with our wallet. Just get a worker dominator.
I disagree. This is pretty great by Hasbro standards. Especially lately.
Perhaps someone will make 3D printable, 4-part replacements for those grip pieces.
A set in resin might be fun.
This would allow for a lot of customization in the size of the grip as well.
