I love it. I would keep the 6 cylinder and 3 speed column shift. So many have V8 swaps, the 6 makes it super cool. A solid color paint job, just a good cruiser.
There is a linkage in the engine compartment for the shifter. That must be in good condition to shift correctly. On a previous vehicle I owned, I would clean this thoroughly then re-lubricate the linkage with grease. Made it shift pretty smooth.
Simple and basic to work on for someone that wants a weekend dump and home depot truck.
Cool ! The gloss clear is unfortunate. Gotta be satin.
Needs a mint green coat of paint.

Hey brother when you are cruzing in third and you go to stop..instead of trying to go from third to first, go from third to second then to first, and she will jam up no more! I've had a few of these old Ford and Chevy three on tree trans and it works flawlessly.
yes. I have a couple of them and, learned to drive with them. You have to be methodical with the H gate.
And the way it jumped out of first, the third to second then first and maybe a double clutch will cure also.

No working radio, turning signals, fuel gauge or horn? Kinda below your standards it seems.
My very first vehicle was a '69 Chevy C10. Mine had the inline 6 I got clocked doing 72 in a 55. You really don't want to smoke in that thing because the fuel tank is inside the cab right behind the seat.

Double clutch into 1st and it'll probably drop right in. Those ole trucks were nothing short of workout in traffic. Not fun in a parking lot either.

2nd gen C10 Chevy trucks are the best looking. This one needs some TLC but is definitely a keeper. Drop the price $500 and I’ll probably take her off your hands. Even though my wife isn’t as excited about that offer.

The new owner of this one is gonna be wearing out the pages of an LMC catalog for sure but it’s a pretty decent start for someone to completely redo. Definitely would make it into a short bed and then start a complete tear down.

That 69 C10 would be kool rat rod project fix those important things like lights & hanging doors also relocate fuel tank probably get rid of 6 banger replace with 383, 427 or 502 big block poweplant.
