Here's an all original '51 Cadillac! It's powered by a 331ci V8 and a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. It still has the original 6 volt electrical system, and remains in factory formation under the hood! Inside, it is all original as well! It has striped cloth upholstery, nice clean carpet, a nice headliner and door panels, and the AM radio, wipers, and gauges work great! The car has shiny two-tone paint, 15 inch wheels with wide white wall tires and factory hub caps, it has an extremely solid trunk and floors, and the glass and chrome look nice too! This well kept '51 Cadillac runs and drives great!
Impressive! That engine turns over and runs impeccably.
Its amazing what these cars can do with a little bit of TLC!
Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to use this video for reference. My father who passed away a couple years ago was in the middle of restoring this exact model. Unfortunately a guy going by the name of Juan Traminio of A-1 Chrome made off with a bunch of the hard to replace parts and a couple thousand dollars as my father lay dying of stage 4 cancer. He never got to see his dream come true but I'm slowly replacing parts and finishing it. I don't know if I'll be able to see to drive it with the tears that will surely have filled my eyes when I finally get it on the road. I have an urn with some of his ashes that will ride with me on the dash as I take it down Route 66. Rest easy Ray Duncan Cockrum 1952-2015
Great car this was the era when Cadillac was at it's peak especially when tailfins were becoming a trend.
Even with the ripped seats this Cadillac is still better than the other one I just seen on RUclips
Gorgeous!
what a great find, real treasure,
WOW WOW .... That is one absolutely gorgeous car
Wow beautiful tank
Love the slow idle. And now I know where that slow starter motor sound comes from they use in the cartoons. I'd look sooooo at home in this car. Unfortunately, I'm not.
Gorgeous color combination!
We agree!
I can't stop watching this. It is drop dead gorgeous. I wonder how many beans?
I well remember the slow starters on 6 volt cars. Our 1950 Caddy, our 1950 Plymouth and others all cranked slowly.
.... but not quite that slowly.
Look at that color omg
Very nice! Wow!

too sweet for the street!
Me likey!
I want it
This Cadillac should be much more QUIET than it is. The demonstrator should know that one should never operate the windshield wipers on a dry windshield, even a clean one.
No need to be concerned, He simply turned the windshield wipers on to prove that they worked! Many people buy cars from us without ever seeing them in person so we provide video evidence that they work to help them decide if they want the car or not. A couple bought this car back in 2014 and are very happy with it!
