Lord Bernard Tomic is an inspiration. He knows he will never make enough money playing tennis to cover his travel and other playing costs. He keeps playing because he loves the game. He will even play Futures events so that he can enjoy the sensation of hitting tennis balls. When he wins - like today - he's excited because it means he can play the next day. He could have retired in his 20s and be known as one of the most talented players ever. Instead when he retires - probably in his 50s playing qualifier matches for Futures tournaments - he will be known as the most devoted tennis player ever. He truly is our Saviour who provides great joy to recreational players like myself who also enjoy the game.
Just think, this time last year the GOAT had just got himself in the top 300 and a year later he's knocking on the door of the top 200! A few sleepless nights ahead for Sinner and Alcaraz with AO coming up, I'd say.
Praised be, praised be!! The Lord has decided to end his vacation early and teach these insolent youngins a hard lesson in faith! On to the next round.
8:25 even lord Tomic, who had planned to give the second set to Kodat as a learning experience as part of the gracious lord's plan, was not expecting him to miss the overhead smash. Absolute props to the young gun who surprises the all knowing lord. Tomic acknowledged the gift, and proceeded to give mercy to him and finish the match in straight sets rather than the planned torturous 3 setter he had planned. A nice reminder to enjoy the little surprises in life -- thank you lord Tomic
Kodat has a good variety to his game, and he certainly has a good amount of potential. He just needs to be more versatile and take his opportunities better when they come. But overall, not a bad performance.
The Lord giving his opponent some setpoints to train for future pressure points on the AO. Good practice.
Bless Kodat with his running and his top spin and his expansive one-handed backhand... All hopelessly inadequate vs. our Lord and tennis saviour.

Immortal Lord Tomic letting his opponent get to 5-5 in each set on purpose, just to tease the possibility of a tiebreak!

On to the next round.
The lord wants desperately to qualify for AO 25 and stick it up to AO organizers.
@@JAM-fm8lthe’s already done that btw. He would want to increase his chances of getting a wildcard for either AO or Brisbane
1:32 Lord Tomic says "No free points around here!!!" and decides to concede the point on purpose to bring the game to deuce. What a guy.
Bernie the Grind Machine is back with yet another straight sets W! As expected, really

Praying for a Tomic Sell matchup!
Same here fate must bring them together finally
@@timothywojcik2631 That would break the internet. 🛜
The LORD and GOAT strikes AGAIN. When will they learn not to trifle with him smh
Lord Tomic once again super efficient, teasing his opponent with setpoints right before striking mercilessly.
Soul crushing first set loss for Kodat 0-40 4-5 and gets 7-5'd. I hope the Lord has a good physio for round to prep.
Tomic's in town!
Tomic looked disappointed that Kodat bricked that set point.
Great game Bernard.
I love these fans so much always good thread! Tomic your fans are legion lol
I wonder if Tomic ever reads the comments to these videos. The guy has quite a following) and I, for one, don’t miss a single match highlights).
I was thinking the same thing, who knows, maybe one day he'll post something...
Lord tomic once again
@3:14 Practicing for Wimbledon. The lord is wise.
8:25 Lord Tomic teaching the young man that even the best must experience the taste of defeat

Perhaps but Lord Tomic's in a different league.
Its a graceful style of play to see..
