To think now, I thought the best way to play Sunbreak GL will be Bullet barrage spam, and I thought reverse blast dash is gonna be trash. Boy oh boy how wrong I was. As always your mastery of the weapon is just a wonderful sight.
I’ve been using a hellfire cloak/coalescence gunlance set for a while now and seeing that used on a speedrun this commandingly has convinced me I’m a fraud at GL. Amazing stuff
You should, the playstyle demonstrated in the video is a lot of fun too. Gunlance in general can be frustrating at first but once you get over the learning curve it's hard to go back to other weapons.
That was insane. What the f. You can cut a few milliseconds by using the "non-directional" tranquilizer bomb after throwing the first one with directional input. Tiny bit faster than throwing both in a direction.
With the end game armor you can get a really good value from its helmet and waste. They gives you hell fire cloak 2, coalescense 3 and a free 15 raw from the unique skill and a level 4 slot for the hellfire+ decoration (also redirection 1) He is procing hell fire bombs and coalescense everytime he reverseblastdashes(maintaining the buff), so you get 18 raw and 15% status buildup for his blast weapon which is nice plus 15 raw totals 33 raw(Only when enraged so it has its drawbacks on other monsters compare to this one) Dealing 140 more damage ontop of everything else when ever you reverseblastdash your strongest burst option, it is really nice 🙂 It's a bit annoying to build with out a good charm tho, you can still do it but will probably have to sacrifice some thing to make it worth building
It does more damage over time than "slam" fullburst sweep. Reverseblastdash does 30 damage from the blunt hit, then 55 from the slam (85) A normal slam after quick reload is only 45 and is kinda slow in relation to the damage it deals so it's a "bit" stronger to reversebalstdash after quick reload, you do miss out on one shell from blastdashing but on the head it's worth. Also because he has hellfire skill he is dropping hellfire bombs after reversebalstdash dealing even more damage which keeps coalescense up, than if he just slam sweeps fullbursted.
Your reflexes are fucking nuts!!! I didn't notice you guard anything you just d and or just dodged. I noticed you used redirection and did you use reverse blush dash at one point? Anyway amazing skill with the Gunlance.
Hes constantly reverse blast dashing, its how he has s, you can reverse blast dash forwards by holding backwards on your stick, its quicker than a normal blast dash, has s and a shield bash which can KO.
Regular blast dash is much slower and has no i-frames. Reverse BD is the single best skill gunlance has gotten in sunbreak although all of them new are excellent

What was the reason for blast dash over the normal overhead slam? I'm guessing sharpness management is easyier without the widesweep, slam combo?

@@fromhl7619 I slept on reverse dash so hard, it's an amazing skill, absolutely ridiculous how strong and versatile it is.
You get more invincibility frames if use it with no ammo ☺️

途中でコンボ中断できてスタン値も貯まるリバブラ型に隙はないな。
なんなら叩きつけも火力になってる辺り、物理で伸び代もあるっていう。
