I had a hunch when I could only find 2 secrets that the 3rd was a global timer. I hate being right, they're my least fav secret since I like to explore levels methodically and slowly first run then speedrun them later. Oh well at least it was just a berserk pack.
Machine Games have been killing it with these map packs as of late. I'm absolutely dying to know what they're Quake project is going to be like if this is how good they are at handling map design!
This is amazing new demons, weapons , music ,textures its like Starcraft 1 announces a new expa. Like to see they add new content instead of just remaster the game
I played the first map. Holy cow, it's amazing! I'll start playing it in full sometime in October or November, since I currently have a backlog of games to clear (and I needed a break after playing so many wads from the list of add-ons, haha XD) Funnily enough, I was already familiar with the prototype Lost Souls since they also appear in Doom Zero. Good to know that they're now canonized with this campaign, though!

The files are id1.wad (the main pwad), id1-res.wad (contains the resources), and id1-weap.wad (DEH patch for the weapons) I use DSDA-Doom and it seem to work just fine with all three files loaded. I also tested without -res and -weap. That also works because I believe those two other files are also included in the main pwad.
This campaign gets really difficult later on the Vassago demons are more annoying to. Apparently the campaign is Boom compatible as well. I did notice they did use the PSX Doom Firesky in E1M6.
Just use launchers, people. How the hell should he know what method do you use? It can be .bat file, or it can be drag and dropping. Launchers are idiot-proof, just use them.
If you don't mind me asking what improvements did you notice in this Enchanted version of Doom what updates did they make this game improve textures and more mods?

i tried this wad on gzdoom (with project brutality) but my music doesn't sound like yours does, does that enhanced SFX mod you're using change how the music sounds too or something?
I couldn't get it to load everything without errors with my older v4.4.2 gzdoom so I used the latest DSDA-Doom with DSDA-Launcher to play this mapset. My big question is this meant to be played with mouselook? I don't feel one way or the other about it, just want to know if they intended us to play it without mouselook or with it, if anyone knows.
No, it isn't. But now that you mention it... I used my default mod settings, enabling smooth weapons... Which I shouldn't enable for this addon, thanks!
That isn't anything You can't do in vanilla (maybe it does exceed the visplane limit but idk). This wad is also a demonstration that the official port now also supports Boom and MBF features.
So I got the maps and alpha enemies to load in just fine, but how did you get these new weapon sounds to load? Is that another separate wad file? I loaded in these 3, in this order: id1.wad id1-res.wad id1-weap.wad

it worked fine with me when i loaded id1.wad over doom 2

"gzdoom -iwad "doom2.wad" -file "id1.wad"" just loads Doom II
I've heared they separated the game into multiple wads. You have to load the other ones too, for monsters and resources so the game will run in gzdoom
My load order is just id1.wad and then my high res sfx, nothing else!

Since its MBF, there would be no need to replace. But I haven't gotten that far into it to confirm

Perk smooth doom but the mod doesn't add the new weapons, use "vanilla smooth doom" instead
