    Looks pretty good. 😊
I've only built one model car kit with a diecast body, back in the late 1970s in my Airforce enlistment. It was an MGTC, about 1/20 scale I think. Haven't had a hankering to do another, though I have bought a few 1/18 and 1/24 diecast cars.

It was an experience. It's a good kit, I just learned that I don't like working with die cast.

Thanks. It is a good kit and although I say I don't want to display it, I will because it did turn out better than I expected. What I learned is that I don't like working with die cast.

If it's a body that's only available in diecast, and sometimes that happens, I wouldn't be against buying and building a diecast like this.
Really you should be more proud of this, Skip. It really looks good.
I'm sure if you took just a bit more time, you'd work out the fit and paint issues like the hood, and be greatly satisfied with the diecast, even to the point you'd try another.
I would display that if I'd built it, definitely. The old 1:1 Model A's have some paint and fit issues, don't they? 😃

Thanks for the encouragement. I am happy with it, but I really don't like working with die cast. I do have another one just like this. I bought two at the time. One box was marked 1928 Model 'A' and the other 1931 Model 'A'; however, in the box they are identical kits, so maybe down the road I'll build the other one. I also have a 1:16 scale 1931 Model 'A' made by Minicraft. I wanted to build them because I had helped my neighbor restore a 1929 Model 'A'. I had such a good time doing that restoration, although his was all black. I guess that's why I always love those years of Model 'A's. His niece still has the car in the garage and I've been after her to sell it to me, but she won't budge. Thanks again my friend.
