When using this mic,, I suggest trying not moving the volume past the mid level and test how your voice sounds first; before moving it up to max right away!
@@nomad5454 It depends on your phone.. for me I tested on the Note20 Ultra and Z Fold 3... when in video pro mode... you can see the vocal level go up and down with sound the mic pics up. You can whisper or lightly tap the mic in a sample recording to test it out.
Hello, have you showed mic sound by connecting to note 20 ultra? Or to pc in the video? Also does it capture background such as ceiling fan noise? If you keep volume knob down too?
Great Review! But I have a question, is it possible to turn the scissorarm by, let's say 90 degrees? Because I need to mount it right next to me on the table :/
Hi JOEL PADILLA, yes, it will work with a proper smartphone adapter. But if your main purpose is mobile recording, then we would recommend using a dedicated smartphone microphone.
hello Brother, I have the same Fifine Condenser Microphone (T669) with me and I am trying to connect it to with V8 Sound card but there is no USB port on the V8 sound card, then I order 3.5 mm male audio to USB 2.0 cable but it is not supported to connect on the Condenser mic port so could you help me, how to use it on V8 sound card? please, there is no videos to related this problem so if you make the video or you can send me the ideas then I will be thankful to you.
This video made me decided if I should get this or not. I was deciding on this one or the fifine 669b and decided to get this one because of you. Thanks you
Hi Flash e, yes, for this model, it can work on an arm stand without a shock mount. Just use the pivot mount and a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter to install the mic onto an arm. But as Mobile WizTech mentioned, it's better to use with the shock mount.
Note: He had the mic set up *sideways* and this is a condenser microphone, which should be talked straight into the front of it, which is recognisable since the front of it is where the logo and volume knob are. So not only will it sound clearer but also *better* .
@@NerdGadget oh sorry, my bad, I meant rotated to the side. Yes, it is placed vertically, but rotated around to its side, so you were speaking almost 90° to the front of it, which causes lower sound quality. Nonetheless, good video!
@@NerdGadget thank you, I'm also considering the maono au-pm421 can you check if it works on android with a usb adapter, and also you should do a review on the maono au-pm421

How do you turn the mic on once the device is recognized??
@@jerrylascon You should just have to twist the knob.
@@NerdGadget I did that it’s not working because it’s connected to my windows 11
@youaresojerry In that case, you should be able to select right from within Windows. Click your audio options and select it there.
