Also a big fan of Lanterne Rouge. Best pro road race commentary channel out there.
    Congrats on the W.

Northern California crits and road races are becoming THE most popular type of American cycling 😂 thanks to all you NorCal RUclipsrs!

😂😂 it's funny, I roll up to the start line of these races and there are a TON of gopros. We pump out the content

Awesome team win! Good job bridging to the break and sticking with the climbers 👍. Lanterne Rouge and Nate English 👍. Filming road races is def more challenging because of the duration! It's easier when they last 1.5 hours though, which is why I was able to do mine decently well from this past weekend 😂. Editing is taking FOREVERRRR because of various reasons... 😒

Ya I was trying to film up the climb each lap, then one time I forgot to switch the gopro off and it drained the battery... too bad, I would have liked to film the chase effort my teammates put on. And man editing is hard! I can do a video where I just talk at the camera in like 30 minutes but these race videos can easily take a few days. I

@@ChainlessTV for sure! At your level of racing, you're probably hyper-focused on the race. At my level, I'm able to think more about the cameras 😆

The US is pretty much the only place I know where sitting on a break in a single day race is considered OK. It's not. It's everything bad in cycling and I sincerely appeal for you not to do it. Your guy won, and that's great but it's beside the point. He could have easily lost and all you are left with is a lost opportunity in the breakaway and a shameful display. Road racing is on it's knees in the US. For years negative racing, arrogance and bro culture has contributed to it. Please, race positively, passionately and with balls. You know I'm right.

So no tactics??? I can see maybe soft pedaling through, but what he described in the video is called 'tactics.' Racing isn't about being strongest its about using your mind to get yourself or someone on your team over the line first.

surely not pulling thru in the break when ur racing for a teammate is killing american road racing

You make some valid points but I think above all we need to remember that everyone has the ability to race in a way they think maximizes their chances of winning. That may conflict with your tactic and that's fine, it's part of the sport, we all have to deal with it and overcome it. I was empty at the end of this one, I definitely raced passionately and true my teammate could have not won but he did... Also we have had full fields all year in our local racing scene
