I was stung by one of these when I was 4 years old, living in El Paso (though mine looked more red like Coyote's). I picked it up because I thought the squeaky sound it made was funny! This is the first time I've heard this sound captured on video. Awesome stuff!
I could really hear it buzz sound for warning. And my goodness that stinger really did look very big. I can really see the large amounts of damage that she did to your forearm. They do seem like scary creatures.
This is crazy to see bc when i was little my brothers and i always used to play with the red cow killers we found. They never stung us, we didnt know they could lol.

lol I had one in my shoe as a kid in Texas. Let me tell you I had my shoe off in about .003 sec. He it me in my toe. They are like little tanks also.
